Decent Fort Myers golf course

Magnolia Landing presents a good challenge with decent design decent maintenance and natural setting. Good value at US$ 70. A little bit of a drive from Interstate 75. I give it middle ranking of the 5 courses I played during Fort Myers trip.

Rough conditions

Taking advantage of jacked up prices for golf in North Fort Myers/Punta Gorda area. Tee decks are sparse and uneven, greens are patchy with some sort if disease. Not green at all - don't let photos trick you. Lots of brown all over the course.

Layout is challenging as there is basically water on every hole somewhere.Don't have to cover it often, but constantly left or right for sure. Par 3s need a revamp yardagewise - all 4 were 180-195 from the Gold tees. Vary it up, make it more enjoyable vs same club each time.

The greens are in very bad conditions! Have no idea what happened. Loved in the past to play here, but will not come back, before they are are fixed.

We had a great round playing on a beautiful course! The staff was fantastic and accommodating! Prices are going to rise so our fun will have to resume in May. If you can afford the fees, you will enjoy your round! Magnolia Landing is a fantastic place to play!
