I would play this course again as it was almost perfect for a holiday round. My only beef was it took 5 hours and we often had 3 groups backed up on the holes. The Marshall did little to change it, which encouraged slow play by every group

Take a look at the web site's hole by hole descriptions before you play for the first. They really help on some of the blind tee shots.

A nice course with a variety of holes. The welcome was great. No carts on many holes due to overnight rain, but as the round went on it was obvious many holes could have had carts on them.

Hera at the 19th hole was one of the best waitresses we have had at over a dozen courses we have played recently.

They're spacing people every 8 min. Maybe they got people.showimg up 15+ Min late. Either way it ruins the day with that much waiting.

Customer service was great and the course was fantastic. I will be coming back to play.

had not played this course for several years as we live on White Heron in Davenport and are members there. just for a change of pace I decided to play Providence and I was very pleased with the experience. The staff, particularly Jerry in the pro shop were over the top friendly and welcoming. The course was in excellent shape. In fact I would say it rates right up there with Southern Dunes and Celebration…maybe even better. beautiful homes lined the fairways complimented by beautiful ponds and landscaping. Good variety of tees for golfers of all distance abilities. What really struck me was how peaceful it was. A very quiet environment with no traffic noises nearby. I give this course 5 big stars,

Beautiful friendly course very manageable. Pro shop was welcoming and knowledgeable they even allowed us to proceed earlier which was great. Overall a gorgeous day with friends

We started our golf week at this course due to the layout and ease to go from car to proshop (excellent staff) to range and first tee. It was Friday and wide open. We were able to tee off 30 minutes earlier than expected. Everything was great. The only. Downside was ordering food at the turn from the carts onboard computers. The orders never connected to the kitchen line. Not a big deal bc the course was pretty empty at 1pm but if it was crowded it would’ve been stressful. Greens rolled very true and pretty fast. Even with some sand on them they were still great. Fix your ball marks people!!!

Even though they had dusted the Greens with a fine sand, they still were rolling Fantastic 9+.

To say that playing in the afternoon has benefits, yes it does a 3 hour round and only saw one group in front and a single behind. We tee’d off at 1pm and with the break in the heat it was perfect

Fairways good one or two a little wet but to be expected greens in good order great layout will be back for sure.

Played this course on vacation. Absolutely loved it. Legitimately, might move here and make it my home course.

Providence is getting back to its best. We were met with a pleasant and cheerful greeting in the Pro Shop. Range was in good condition with artificial matting that kept it that way. We were one of only three groups booked on a Sunday afternoon, so told to go when ready.

Tees were in condition and vary in length for all standards. Fairways were in a good dry condition despite recent rains. Greens were excellent.

The course layout is excellent and challenging. Some of the holes on the back nine are reminiscent, and up to the standard of, the best Disney course holes.

The only reason why I give it 4 1/2 Stars instead of 5 is because they played cart path only throughout. We found only one wet fairway (the last), so it doesn’t look like they inspected before deciding. Will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Played after a big rain and the greens had no standing water. Played cart path only as fairways a little over soaked in some areas but tees and greens in fantastic shape.

the course was in great condition one or two fairways were cart only and the carts cut out if you get within 30 yards of the green which is a little over zealous in my mind although i do understand the need to protect the approaches. Fairways and rough were excellent and greens in great shape.

We did not see a sole although our tee time was 1:00 pm a great day
