Providence Golf Club

After a hitting a small bucket of range balls, I was able to get to the first tee a few minutes ahead of schedule. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The fairways were forgiving, the greens were true but not overly fast, but the rough was a bit dried out. The pace of play was good and made for an enjoyable round.

The course is very open, and the fairways and tees were in great shape. The greens are wickedly fast...suggest just aim at the hole and watch your speed. We were paired with a very nice couple...but the starter stuck a fivesome out in front of us. We waited on them for every shot....and they got even slower on the back nine. Even when the ranger came by, he never moved them along or allowed us to play through. Never crazy about a 5 hour round +- and just have never heard of a course this busy allowing fivesomes ever!!! Other than that, it would have been a nice course to play.

Providence is in really good shape. There’s only a couple of areas that were a little wet from the prior week’s rain, but all in all it was nice. Greens were rolling true, just need people to fix their pitch marks. Always a go to course in the area.

Course was in good shape and greens rolled very nice. Not a big fan of courses built in housing developments, Front 9 is tight , Back nine opens up and is more enjoyable. Now on to the big negative. Pace of Play was terrible. from 4th hole on we waited on every shot. 5 hours 15 minutes is completely unacceptable. Ranger came by a couple times to apologize , but things did not move any better.

Frank is an absolute legend! He started us off with the best story I've ever heard from a starter ever. He undoubtedly made our round better and we are still commenting about him and the great feeling he started our group with. I would highly recommend to anyone for the price this golf course and Frank need to be experienced. Hit them long and straight

Nice track, greens were rolling really nice. Pace wasn’t great, but it was in the afternoon and we got behind a 12 person bachelor party, so it was just one of the days. Nice option Orlando away from the resort courses

Play every time I visit the area. Will play again next week with a group of guys from up north. Nice practice facility, friendly staff, better than decent conditions, nice variety of holes.

Course was in good condition. Greens are well protected by traps so take an additional club is good advice on approach shots. Overall conditions were better than the last time we played.
