Providence Golf Club

The pace of play was terrible. The course layout and conditions were very nice. The greens were very smooth and rolled nicely.

Open fairways with well maintained greens. Played 18 holes in less than three and a half hours. Virtually no shade, greens were beautiful but slow. Shots into the large greens held or you can run an approach up the front on most holes. Fun round with very few difficult shots (carries over traps green side). Only amenities on the course were bathrooms and igloo water stations. For a fun, easy round this is a great course.

Got a great Hot Now deal for 1pm.. but it was extremely hot. For that reason I only played front nine. I have 2 complaints! The sprinklers were on when I got to the 4th hole. Why are they watering in the middle of the day? Makes no sense! Which leads to my next complaint. Had 5 holes cart path only (7,9,10,16,&18) probably from overwatering and rain. It’s too hot to do all that walking! I live in the neighborhood and always wonder why they would water during playing hours. Makes it undesirable to want to risk playing at my “home course” if I know it’s going to be cart path only for half the course. Nobody wants to spend the round walking the course in this heat. Also slows the pace of play!

I accidentally scheduled round for the previous day on GN. They got me out no problem. The fairways were very good. Greens rolled nicely even though there was evidence of punched greens. I had my first hole in one which made my Father’s Day extra special.

Conditions overall was better than most local course for the same money . Plush fairways (with some dryness here and there but no course can be that perfect) . Greens were vertical cut and a little slow for me but they were in good condition . Pace was excellent!! We had 12:56pm tee time and We practically played by ourselves. We only saw one single and let him by on 14th hole . Would definitely come back.

I brought my nephews and their 2 handicap friend. Our foursome had three tee boxes we used and still got around well under four hours.

The course was in great shape and the Pro shop staff and dining/ bar area are always cordial and helpful with any questions.

Just love playing here...even when it's as hot as it was....my nephews and friend ( he shot a 73 ) loved the layout and especially the greens.

It is a nice course. Nice layout. It’s kept in good condition.

Played many years ago this course and it’s sad to see that all the beautiful nature has changed into house areas. The course itself is as I remembered. Nice layout, enough variation and well maintained. Buggy with gps. Little remark about the the price (15$) for the range balls, in my opinion too much. Staff friendly.

Played Providence today, poorly managed staff. Pro shop tried to overcharge rates that were posted cheaper on there website. It was 95 degrees outside and there were no ice machines or coolers by the golf carts. I went up to restaurant to get ice and staff member (female) rudely said no. Told her just paid for golf, had receipt in hand, she said no and had audacity to tell me I had to purchase a 6 pack of beer for ice. She should be immediately fired. I will not be going back to poorly managed golf course, and I would advise everyone the same. Unacceptable and disappointing.
