About
Providence Golf Club meanders through forests of ancient hardwoods, freshwater creeks, and natural wetlands. The course's scenic landscape also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife including otters, deer, and wild turkeys. Mike Dasher designed the golf course, allowing his admiration for European-style golf course to be reflected in his unique undulated greens. Dasher combined elements of heathland, parkland, and traditional Florida-style courses to create a layout that is both endlessly versatile and visually stunning. A notable hole is the par-4 14th, which will either make or break your score. Golfers will face the most demanding tee shot on the entire course that will determine your chances of reaching the hole in regulation. Providence Golf Club has a strong local following but it is also popular amongst visitors since it sits just fifteen minutes from the major theme parks.

Not great not bad. Not worth more then 60$
Greens in good condition roll well but pretty flat not very fast.
Fairways and tee boxes are good- some tee boxes beat up. Bunkers weren’t very nice.
Pretty easy track. It’s not very long not much trouble besides water.
It’s a nice easy day. Starter was a good guy.
I’d play again but not for 100$+. It’s worth 60-70$ max.
Hot deals not welcome !
Apparently they have special rules when you get a hot deal . I was made to feel like a second class citizen. Nice course but if you get a hot deal you need to know your place .

Enjoyable
I played Providence three times during the three weeks I was in the Orlando area. The course is well designed, kept well maintained and presents a decent challenge. At $US 70 it is good value and keeps you coming back.

We walked off the course on the 15 th hole. It was over after4.5 hours. Would have been a 5 to 5.5 hours round. Won’t go back. And won’t recommend it

Nice challenge
Providence is well designed and generally well maintained. The bunkers could use some TLC. Water and sand comes into play regularly forcing you tp play smart. The natural setting of this course also makes the round pleasurable. At $70 it is reasonably priced.
Course in excellent condition
The course was in excellent condition, better than the other public courses we have played in the area. Greens rolled well, fairways were lush, tee boxes in good condition and bunkers good.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The front nine in particular are quite open and flat and not that attractive IMO however the course is challenging, albeit wide.
Clubhouse was decent with friendly staff and good food.
Cart path only
Came after a big rain the day before so it was cart path only. A little mud in some spots but not too bad. So far the best Central Florida course we’ve played. Greens were in excellent condition. Also beverage cart made several passes.
We were only able to play 9 holes, and the carts were not working properly
I sent an email to Golf now to ask for a nine hole refund, but have not heard back from Golf Now
Greens were fast
Excellent day at providence impressed with the greens and course was in top shape for playing in January I’ll be back
Tough back nine
This course was painfully slow the day we played. Pace on front nine was hood, but the harder back nine was really slow! Some golfers should not play from the blue tees.
Fun and challenging course
Course was in pretty good shape. Lots of fun holes
