Providence Golf Club meanders through forests of ancient hardwoods, freshwater creeks, and natural wetlands. The course's scenic landscape also serves as home to an abundance of wildlife including otters, deer, and wild turkeys. Mike Dasher designed the golf course, allowing his admiration for European-style golf course to be reflected in his unique undulated greens. Dasher combined elements of heathland, parkland, and traditional Florida-style courses to create a layout that is both endlessly versatile and visually stunning. A notable hole is the par-4 14th, which will either make or break your score. Golfers will face the most demanding tee shot on the entire course that will determine your chances of reaching the hole in regulation. Providence Golf Club has a strong local following but it is also popular amongst visitors since it sits just fifteen minutes from the major theme parks.

Pace Of Play Is Terrible

Providence is a fun course with a nice layout. The pace of play continues to kill this course. At one point there were three groups waiting on a tee box because of the group ahead of them. We were stuck waiting on several tee boxes and approach shots. Something needs to be figured out with the pace of play. Tee times only being 8 minutes apart might be something to do with that.

A Good Course in Spring Condition

Paying the afternoon rate for this course was reasonable. I don't think it is worth the regular rate at the moment. Beyond that, this was a good experience. The course has a fairly easy open layout and medium-sized greens.

Really like this course and was surprised by how quickly we got around with a 2:30 tee time. Played with 2 gentlemen from Germany who were a lot of fun and we finished in just under 4 hours.

Good luck using google to get there.... that was a disaster! Not the clubs fault, they are trying to correct it. Course could use some grass.... everywhere! Greens are ok though. We felt it was not worth price paid.

You're going to pay close to $100 to play this track but compared to most available courses in the Kissimmee-Davenport corridor this is a high value choice. Laser shot tee boxes, well maintained traps and watered rough are among the best attributes of the course. Greens are true and consistent. Played it three times and always tracked around 9.5-10 on the S- meter. Nice practice facilities, and overall just well maintained.

Enjoyed our round, course is challenging. Was surprised by how much dry spots found on fairways, wasn't as lush as it was when we played here the same time last year, but still enjoyed ourselves (played 2nd round next day). Nice if cart person came by more often, saw just once, 14th hole.

The course is just fine but the price is ridiculous and the reason it is, the satellite system is great to have but a waste of money and that is why it costs $109 plus tax . Now I only paid $69.99 because of golfnow app. Then it is worth it! This is not a $109 course!!!
