About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience!
The value of this course is excellent for the price! It was well kept and a nice 18 hole course for all levels of players.
This is a nice layout
Haven't played here since last April. Greens were always very slow but was pleasantly surprised that they moved much better. Enjoyed the course much more due to that improvement.

Decent In Winter
Course was great from tee to green. The greens however are a 8/10 difficulty. Small areas to hit and huge slopes off the greens. One of the nicer ones in the area.

5-somes do not belong on a golf course, especially if they are walking. The play was slow but the course was in great shape. I would play again there but it would be nice to limit the rounds to 4-somes only.

Wow, a hidden gem in North Pensacola. The course was in great shape. A lot of twosome playing but pace of play for a weekday seemed slow. Would definitely play again.

Mounded greens
Don't care for the mounded greens! And they were difficult to read: some were fast, some were slow. Won't be back for awhile.

Good condition
The maintenance staff here has got it together, course is great condition for the volume of players this course has. Greens are in great shape as well.

Good shape
The greens were is really good shape. But as the course is designed, there are very few places that are flat or consistent in speed. As in every course you play these days they could use lots of dirt to fill in ruts and dips. The fairways are in descent shape. Overall a good place to play. My wish would be they enlarge and improve the practice green and chipping area.
