About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Tee boxes
If there is something to rate bad about the course it would be their tee boxes. Some of the worst I’ve played on. Greens were great and fairways were pretty good but they can do a better job of cutting it on some holes

Really nice and in good condition
First time at this course and couldn't be happier with it.... Layout great, Fairways and greens in great condition, all staff very friendly. They have "towers" you can go up on to look out on the holes you can't really see the doglegs on that is a huge plus.
If I had to find one "bad" thing about this place it would be that the #6 tees all seem to be on an incline/ angle / slope... So if that's a bother, hit from a different tee box, you have 6 to choose from.

Always a good round
I’ve played Cypress Lakes CC several times and love the course. The only thing that can be challenging is the raised greens on some holes. Hey, I love a challenge.

Course is in great shape. Gets lots of play, but not too slow during week.

Pensacola Muni
Greens were small, but tricky. Fairways wide, mowed and fair. Tees were in good shape. A few 'blind' shots but paired with locals who knew the course well this was not a hinderance. Overall a good value for a municipal course.

Great Time
A beautiful course that provides a good challenge. I enjoy the scenery and working at improving my game. The employees are nice and provide great service. I highly recommend Cypress Lakes for a great round of golf.

My favorite course!!
I play here every chance I get with my Pensacola friends. Its an hour drive for me, but well worth it.
