About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Love the course
I do love the course, there's some rough spots (but that's normal for a no rain year) pace of play was kind of rough, let people play through! I'll come back though, it's a nice escape, grounds crew keep up the good work!!

Great local course. Best value in area.
Always plays well, layout fun, priced right, greens & fairways nice. Can’t beat experience to other over priced courses w/less conditions for area. Must play if visiting long term or resident.

The Gem
Been out for 2 months with a shoulder injury and was pleasantly surprised this week. Course is in amazing condition, considering the heat we have endured. Another positive is the pace of play seemed a bit better which is a plus. My only rub with this course is too many carts near the greens - nothing like chipping out of tire tracks/ruts. I know just hit the green and there is no issue :)
For the value, layout and overall experience you cannot beat this course and nothing in this area compares.

Great Value No Beverage Cart
The course has gotten better since I started playing it a year ago. This time, a few of the tea boxes were pretty torn up and dried out. The greens were really good. Fairways were in great shape mostly. Always love the layout. Just have to buy your stuff at the clubhouse and get a cooler from them for your cart. They also have fairly new golf carts, so no issues there either. Considering purchasing a membership.

Nice course. For the affordable price, I'd call it a hidden gem.
Wide, forgiving fairways. Bunkers were in good shape. Holes are diverse.

Aerated greens about a month ago
I read the other reviews before booking a round. Someone posted about two weeks ago the the greens were "great", so I booked the round. The greens were far from "great". Closer to awful. They must have been aer6a month ago which makes me wonder what the other reviewer was thinking or is he just a liar that works at the course. I wouldn't go back.

Great Value
Played this course a few years ago and it was not very good.
Played in a scramble a few months back and was pleasantly surprised at the improvements enough so the I have played it a half a dozen times in the last couple of months,

Tee boxes
If there is something to rate bad about the course it would be their tee boxes. Some of the worst I’ve played on. Greens were great and fairways were pretty good but they can do a better job of cutting it on some holes
