About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Great course
The course conditions are amazing. Greens are great, fairway’s decent, and not too difficult game play. Club house has some beer but thats it pretty much. Pace of play was terrible though. Definitely will be going back.

Nice course
Nice course, conditions very good except greens recently aerated and haven’t healed completely. Good value.

Good Course
Only issue us allowing fivesomes which had two holes open in front of them but were extremely slow.

Best course in town
Actual green greens and fairways and teeboxes are pretty good. Best condition course in town by far.

Better than the past.
During the past couple of years I have been quite critical the overall condition of this course. Yesterdays experience was a great improvement. Greens and “T” boxes have been improved as have certain cart paths. This course has the potential of being the best course in the panhandle. It’s got a ways to go yet however improvements are very noticeable! Don’t stop now folks. You are on the right track!

Greens are overall good shape. Can’t remember which one, but it had some disease on part of it. The course is really coming in nice. T boxes are in good shape.

Great shape
Best course around Pensacola right now. Greens roll true , fairways you can play the ball down. Tee boxes were in great shape. Very friendly, just very busy and a lot of walker’s early morning. So little bit of hit and wait other than that you can’t beat it for less than $30.

This is a very nice layout
Have reviewed before. Very nice layout, course in good condition except the greens are so slow it takes away from the rest of the course.
