About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Good shape
While the course is in good shape the greens had not been cut and it was very difficult to determine any consistent pace.

Nice Course in The Woods
Good value. Course is in a rural area. Quiet, no cars driving through and fun layout.

good round
First time playing the course. Had 3 pars on the first 3 holes. The rest of the round was up and down. Ended up with 6 pars total.
There were a few wet spots on the course fairways but overall the course was in good shape.
Hot and humid...was expected for Florida summer.

Good challenge for elevation changes
I’m an Orlando golfer and the elevation changes were a good change of play. Made club choices fun and sometimes still came up short. The greens were recently aerated so putting the was near impossible to range. Overall the course was very green and lush. Well maintained.

Fun course!
The course was in great condition and the staff was super friendly. I wish it hadn’t downpoured all morning prior to my tee time, as it was like trying to play in soup. But, if I’m ever back in this area I would absolutely play there again. Great value for the money.
Driving range was closed due to rain, so can’t comment on that. The food/snack selection was quite limited.

Great value
Great value golf course. Not many amenities but the course was in great shape. Fastest rolling greens around. Course conditions on par with regatta bay and other more $$ courses
