About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Good value but challenging
The staff was friendly. The starter, Ray, was very helpful. Great driving range, chipping green and putting green. The course is in very good condition and is very scenic with the layout, bunkers, water and greens! The greens are very challenging and Ray did warn us. While the course itself is very challenging, it was fun to play. I will play here again.
Great course for casual or beginner
Wide open fairways and average difficulty on the green. Some spotty patches on the green, but not the worst I've experienced. Everything is manageable. Today was surprisingly busy and it ended up being assembly line golf, which isn't an often occurrence. This is one of the courses I default to when I want to just work on things and relax. Today just wasn't it. I did save a good amount using the GN app.
Nice value
I thought this was a great value. The greens are all dome shaped and very hard to read and hot, IMO. Love this course. Very beautiful surroundings this time of year. Highly recommend.
