Cypress Lakes Golf Club
About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Nice course
Great course. Good value through hot deal. Will return. Pin placements on some green are challenging putts
Love this course and the staff
It just takes too long to ply
You have to wait to tee off on every hole
Poor course conditions
Poor greens, no grass on fringe. Must putt from off the green: impossible to spin a chip shot.
Fairways very dry and winter grass conditions.
Bunkers very good.
Fun day
Was paired with another couple , had a very enjoyable afternoon
Overbooked T times for 3td time
This is the third time our group have been together and the course was severely OVERBOOKED! This time when we arrived at our tee time we we're again delayed significantly. Because of the back up they sent us to #10 to play the back 9 first. When we completed the back nine we found the #1 Tee was booked with 4-FOURSOMES at the same time plus a major back up on the course which ment at least an 1 1/2 hour before we could Tee off. UNACCEPTABLE!! ALL BECAUSE THEY HAD OVER BOOKED TEE TIMES. WE LEFT WITHOUT PLAYING THE REMAINING HOLES AND WERE DENIED A CREDIT EVEN THOUGH THE STARTER MARSHALL AGREED THEY WERE HAVING PROBLEMS! OUR GROUP AGREED NEVER TO BOOK THIS COURSE AGAIN AFTER REPEATED SIMILAR ISSUES WITH OVERBOOKING.
Great greens…
Not sure how they have done it, but their greens are in great shape! Actually very fast! Stay below the hole to score well on these greens…
Conflicted
Fairway and green condition were excellent for this time of year. Greens are almost unplayable. shaped like an inverted salad bowl. if you can get a shot to hold the green, you better make the first putt or you will roll off the green every time. Ruins the experience.
Course conditions are terrible.
Fairways covered in divots that had not been filled .
Greens covered in unrepaired ball marks. Foot drag marks around holes on every green. Some players take no responsibility for repairing their damage. Followed a extremely slow group the dogfight group
That included fivesomes. 2 some in front of us joined a foursome behind the fivesome. Complained to Marshall, he did nothing. I won’t come back here.
Friendly staff, nice course
Cypress is a hard course in my opinion. The greens can be very fast and pin placement a booger. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Great course for the $’s!
Tough Greens
When I come to play here, I focus on trying to figure out the greens. They are by far the toughest putting greens I play! Really enjoy the challenge!
