About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

Good course for the price
Pretty average for late winter. Not much grass yet. Again it's still late winter

They work hard to maintain course conditions
Three old men.
Course was very busy for a Tuesday. No wait in the pro shop. No problem with Golf Now. Golf carts were fine but was told new carts in March and April. Were not rushed at all. Marshalls every 5-6 holes. Fairways and greens in good shape. Was invited back when we were done. Very happy, will return.
Pace of play was much slower than normal; I have played this course many times before on Saturday. Although there have been improvements to the cart path along some fairways there are other that are still dirt or gravel. The grass was dormant on the fairways but the tee boxes and greens were nice.
Nice Track
What a fun course, with a great variety of holes. It's winter in the Florida panhandle, so conditions were as expected. Greens rolled decently for February.
In all, another enjoyable round at Cyprus Lakes. Definitely recommend it.
Weekly play
I like the course and play it on a regular basis. However without exception each round we played in the past year very slow and did not keep up with the group in front of them.
Mounded Greens
These greens are mounded so terribly that unless you land your ball directly near the pin, your ball will roll off ALL THE TIME! We must have chased our balls around the green on every hole, it would roll down the hill on this mounded green every time! It’s ridiculous how many times your ball rolled down the sides of these greens, it’s just terrible!!! We will not be back!!!
Great layout, beautiful views, stupid greens
First, the green complexes at this course are ridiculous. Every green is small and has a tiny landing area, if you miss at all the slopes on all sides of the green carry you ball 30ft to 50yds away from the green. Chipping was extremely difficult with large slopes around every green. However, great layout, beautiful views over the lakes and rolling hills. The course was very firm and the greens were slow and inconsistent in speed. This could be a great track but it needs some love and a bulldozer to fix the greens.

I’ve been playing at Cypress Lakes for over a year now! They have friendly staff and a beautiful course! Would highly rec for the price!
