Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

This course is in great condition
Usually play this course under hot deals off golfnow.com....for the price whether regular price or hot deals this course is still challenging for the average golfer and above all is in great condition. I found myself playing this course the most this year.

Nice course
I have played here 4 times now. Course has been in good shape, Fairly wide open, you are able to hit a send shot even if off line. Rough is not too deep, there is a little water on the course, seems to bite me at #2, and #17... I do enjoy the course and for the money I feel it is a good value. Club house is lacking ... there might be a hot dog waiting if yoy are lucky

Very Satisfied
After golfing at another course that was more expensive but not very nice, Cypress Lakes was a relief to pay less for a greater golfing experience! I definitely will be bringing more of my friends to Cypress in the future! The course had all the amenities that I was hoping for and a fun course. The only downside was that there is a lot of water.

Nice course
Nice layout and grounds. Course was in good shape. Clubhouse is simple but has snacks and drinks.

Nice course to play
The staff is friendly and this is a nice course to play. Still a little wet but drying out. Also greening up. Greens were slow but in good shape.

Really slow greens.....looks like it was a beautiful course at one time. The people there are wonderful , but it needs to be updated!

Overall Quality
Parts of the course need repair. Otherwise, greens in good shape for this time of year. Fairways are rough to ride on. The rain made play a little miserable. Staff was great. Value of round was good because I purchased the round on Golf Now. Beautiful course when weather is good.

Hidden Gem
This course is nestled among Pinetree's and beautiful old oak trees. Rollinghills undulating greens and overall just a great out-of-the-way nice course. Driving range and clubhouse left a little to be desired however I did not go there for the clubhouse I went there for the golf and that was a great experience.

Over priced
The front 9 was really bad. Chunks of wet grass throughout the fairways and the greens were a little choppy also. A fair course if the price was $20-25 w/cart for 18. Even in golf now it was $30. Definitely glad We didn't pay the full price! We drove an hour just to try a different course. In golf now you can play Eglin course $20 w/cart for 18. Eglin is an hour drive for me also. I would make the drive to Eglin 100 times befor I would go back to this course. Unless they start taking care of the course.

Course is ok and good value but golf now GPS and scoring are incorrect on course layout. Little confusing and frustrating

Great course for the price. Moderately challenging with the course lay out. Green rolled well, fairways were in good shape. No complaints.

Great challenge with changing elevations
Wonderful staff and very friendly. Especially the gentleman that was the starter. This course provides some great scenery with some challenging elevation changes. We played on a Saturday during the heat of the day @ 2 pm. The group in front of us were rather slow yet they let us play through at the turn. We will definitely be back to play this course again.
