Cypress Lakes Golf Club
About
Carved from pine, oak, and magnolia trees, Cypress Lakes Golf Club tumbles through gently hilly terrain, a rare landscape for a Florida course. Formerly known as the Solutia Golf Club, Cypress Lakes is also covered with hundreds of crepe myrtles and blooming azaleas and of course, cypress trees. Water comes into play on a few holes and the trees can prove to be tricky but the challenges of the golf course are balanced with the generous width of the fairways. The course's playability appeals to a variety of different skill levels, especially with four sets of tees available as well. In addition to the course, there are also extensive practice facilities available at Cypress Lakes Golf Club including an all-grass driving range, a practice putting green, and a practice bunker.

not crowded
This was a great experiance. i could play at my own pace because there was no one behinde me.
Fun Short Course
The golf course was in decent condition. Reminding me of your local small town golf course. The overall course has a lot of hills which is nice for a beach course which usually is very flat. The fairways are wide and most holes are short which makes vacation golf more fun. Par 71. Fairways were in good shape. The rough was a broad leaf grass which was tough to hit out of. Only complaint I had was that they just air rated the greens week ago but I had called them and knew in advance. They were rolling good no bumps but slow since they sanded them. Overall I would play again for the price!
Great!
Very nice course. Lots of tee options lets you choose how difficult you want to play. Well stocked pro shop. Definitely will return!
This course has really came a long way, great experience with staff and the shape this course is in.
Beginning with the staff I really felt welcome in the pro shop and started my day off great. I haven't played this course in a couple of years and really am glad to come back. Cypress Lakes is in great shape, the greens are outstanding along with the fairways. I love the hills and the ponds and lakes. Its a course that has a great view on wildlife and different landscape then most courses around Pensacola. I would definitely play here again.
Nice
Nice course. A lot of rain occurred previous to my play date, course was in good/excellent condition. I will play here again.
pleasant
I've played this course many times this is the best shape its ever been in.
nice layout
Greens are long and slow but layout is nice and pace of play was quick
One of the best courses in the Pensacola area!
First real gf course I ever played....have always loved this course, nice elevation changes for this area and the course is always in good shape!! John and his staff do a great job also!
Great a Deal for the Money
This is a solid course for the money. For the price, it definitely exceeded my expectations. There are better courses out there, but if you are looking for a decent course this time of year and don't want to pay a lot, this is the course for you.
Not Happy
Course is completely muddy. Horrible drainage. Won't return back to this course.
Nice layout
I've played Cypress Lakes before. The layout is nice.
The greens are good.
Really enjoyed it
The drive was well worth it. Really enjoyed the staff, course and other players. Will definitely come again.
Player friendly
The course was very nice for the time of year. It was very wet in some places and the weather was fairly cold. Overall I really enjoyed it and am going to take some friends to play again
Great value
Friendly staff. Fun course. Greens in great shape.
Outstanding
Challenging and beautiful gem hidden here in Cantonment, Fl. Highly recommended.
Cypress Lakes Golf Coarse
The coarse is very challenging. Especially the greens, which have a lot of grain to them and Sotheby's putting is very difficult.
Fun and challenging
Enjoyed it, brought a first-timer with me, he really liked the course. Greens are fast, some VERY challenging due to slope combined with difficult pin placement.
Great Day
Excellent value, had a great day. elevation changes and doglegs everywhere. A couple short par three's where you can pick up a stroke. On a couple of the doglegs..if your brave enough you can cut the corner and really shorten the hole. We had a fun day.
The course in in great shape
Course is in great shape. Greens are slow but in good condition. It appears that there has been some improvements to the ladies bathroom, some paths and drainage.
