About
The Cypress Course is one of two 18-hole, championship courses at Stonegate Golf Club at Solovita. The course has a player-friendly layout with ample fairways and bunkers that are large but generally low lipped. There are some challenges that should not be taken too casually though, including sloped, elevated greens that are heavily guarded and water hazards on fourteen holes. The golf course is known for having scenic par-3 holes that are particularly difficult from the back tees. In addition to the two golf courses, Stonegate Golf Club at Solovita offers practice facilities that include a targeted grass driving range, putting green, and practice bunkers.

With not much rain the last few months and the watering restrictions course is a bit hard and dry as to be expected. The real downside though are the greens, many patches of weeds and dead spots. Hopefully it will come back with some work
A lot of driving
A little confusing when you first get in and getting going I do agree with others about needing better signage all around got lost trying to find my car after the 18th The course needs some watering greens need a lot of help loved the course but the biggest issue was too many 2 balls so a lot of waiting and others in a rush with no where to go hitting into us
Great value
The course itself was in great condition, except for the greens, which appeared to have some kind of a disease causing bare areas. The pace of play was excellent. A course map would have been helpful to know where the sand traps and hazards were . Also better signage would have helped to better find some of the holes. The course was a great value at $45 to play it on a Sunday afternoon.

Fun course
The course was typical with other Florida courses. Some greens were missing grass. I'm used to playing up north were the greens are green and the grass in the fairways and rough needs to be mowed daily. I've never seen a mower doing the fairways in Florida.

Great Day Of Golf
Tee boxes, fairways and bunkers in very good shape. The greens were very fast, but they were full of patches. Overall the course is in good shape, will play again.

Love this course and plan to play it again. Fairly priced. Lot of dog legs. There are two different gates to enter complex make certain you go to the correct one.

A bit disappointed
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Because of the rain the past couple of days, the fairways were still wet and it was cart path only (understandably so...no problem). The layout was fairly challenging: lots of water and bunkers in all the right places. Unfortunately, the greens were in bad shape and ruined the round: several greens had large bare spots, some greens were in repair, and poa annua has taken over the greens, causing them to be very bumpy. As another player previously commented, you "putt and pray".

Fun course
A bit windy today. Some challenging holes, so bring your A game. A couple of greens were in rough shape. With the course layout, we felt like we were the only ones on the course. Never had anyone in front of us, so played a casual 4 hour round, with some extra practice shots and never had anyone come up behind us. Very enjoyable day and will definitely come back.

Enjoyed the course first time playing it. Have played the Oaks several times and the Cypress was just as enjoyable. Course is fair and challenging, with no tricked up holes. Greens need a little work but otherwise putting wasn’t too bad. Would recommend and will be back to play again

Been Better
Course is struggling to keep the greens acceptable. Many bare / burnt spots and weeds cut short. Many areas under repair and bumpy.
Tee boxes and fairways are still above average.

Course is good but be prepared for thick tee boxes, bring longer tees and greens need a little more time to heal.

Great course
This was a welcomed surprise, the course was in great shape, very challenging, staff was very nice and helpful, one of the best if not the best course in the area for value, had a great day , will play again, only one thing would have made it perfect very slow back nine had to wait alot on 2somesomes and a single, not sure why, but would highly recommend
