About
The Cypress Course is one of two 18-hole, championship courses at Stonegate Golf Club at Solovita. The course has a player-friendly layout with ample fairways and bunkers that are large but generally low lipped. There are some challenges that should not be taken too casually though, including sloped, elevated greens that are heavily guarded and water hazards on fourteen holes. The golf course is known for having scenic par-3 holes that are particularly difficult from the back tees. In addition to the two golf courses, Stonegate Golf Club at Solovita offers practice facilities that include a targeted grass driving range, putting green, and practice bunkers.

Fun track with a friendly staff
We had a lovely time playing despite the heat, great value for the area.
Very nice course and layout
What a nice golf course in a very nice "village" like community. Fairways were plush and greens held nicely. Not easy but not overbearing. Placement is key on the back 9. Nice bar and restaurant for food and drink after.
Overall a great find for the price.
The course is beautiful
We played the Oaks course and it is so pretty and in great shape. Has a lot of fun holes. Highly recommend and was a great price. We are from Ohio. Cant wait to play next year!
Poor condition of fairwaya
Fairways in poor conditions and greens not much better not a good valve for your money
Great challenge for all skills
Course was in great condition. Tee boxes and fairways were very good despite lack of rain in area. Felt like we had the course to ourselves.
Tough pin positions
Course is solid right now. Greens are rolling very smooth. The pin positions were insane. Hard to score well if you are not putting great. Approach shots were tough to stick the greens as they are newer and really firm. Overall good course only a little out of the way. Would play again.
Our first time playing this course and you needed your A game. Some holes were very tight off the tee which put pressure on following shots. Played with a couple of members who were great and helped us with lines and warnings of unseen hazards.
Stonegate was perfect
Got 36 in and the course was immaculate both of them. Staff was wonderful. Love this place and community. Will definitely be back next year.

TERRIBLE greenskeeping & maintenance
I like the layout.... hence I keep giving this course a chance when the price is low... but it's a total waste of time. They mow the fairways so low it's ridiculous, there's practically 1/16 of an inch of grass everywhere. They must use the same mowers for the "rough" because it's mostly indistinguishable from the fairways. Next to impossible to make good contact with any irons or woods unless you're absolutely perfect, because the ball is sitting on dirt even when you're not on a bare patch, and there's plenty of those too. The bunkers are mostly hardpacked sand that plays like dirt. The greens are the one bright spot here, they're decent for the price.
Love the course
Fairways need a lot more attention. Don’t like hitting hitting off bald spots,
