Legends Walk at Orange Lake Resort
About
Orange Lake Resort & Country Club boasts two Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses as well as two other courses, a championship and a nine-hole course. Arnold Palmer designed the most popular course at the club, the Legends, as well as the nine-hole Legends Walk. The latter course is reminiscent of a time when golfers would make their way through the links on foot. The 1,581-yard layout is an ideal walking course, offering both scenery and interesting challenges. the course features rolling fairways and water hazards. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers lurking treacherously along some of the greens. Palmer designed the course to be approachable to a wide range of players. There are five sets of diverse tees that give golfers the option to match the course exactly to their skill level.

This is a walking 9 hole par 3 course with distances from 90 ~ 220+ yards.
As mentioned this is a 9 hole par 3 course that I played at night. YES at night 7:44 PM tee time. THe tee boxes and greens are have stadium lighting so it adds to the interest. Since it is at night be sure to put on ample insect repellent, if not you will be the main course. I used this course to reflect on my short game (par 3). Also to note this was after 36 holes prior to arriving so I am using that excuse for not hitting as many greens as I thought I would.
Staff is SUPER helpful and friendly.
Course is WONDERFUL for families with children. The course is easy and well maintained . They just aerated it so the greens were sandy but we were warned of that beforehand. I can't say enough about the helpfulness and friendliness of the folks who run the Legends Walk pro shop.
Easy course, well kept and kids play free!
Easy t0 play course, well kept greens and kids play free!
Solid par 3 course
The par 3s averaged out at about 170 yards per hole so it was definitely a good test and good practice. Course was in good shape but I would have liked to see some some variation in the holes. Every hole was pretty straight forward with a couple bunkers surroundings each green
9 hole walking course. One of the very few night golf courses.
It can be easy or it can be average depending on the tees u choose. The longest is approximately 220 yards.Pull carts available. No golf carts but it is under 2000 yards. The best night golf course available in Orlando area.
Nice Walk
It is great for what it is. There should be more places like this around. Great for a quick round day or night.
Great Par 3 course in a great area...
Tough little par three which makes it perfect for practice, and also note that this is the only nighttime course in the Orlando area.
A quick 9 holes walking with a pull-cart.
It is a Par 3 course, but has many Tee boxes and you can hit driver from the back tees on some holes. Very good for practicing the short game. Greens are small and sloping and heavily bunkered.
Good exercise as some holes require walking up hill. The course is fairly open and you should not lose many golf balls. The greens are in good condition, but have slopes and breaks. It is a challenge to score well on it.
Great course for kids near Disney
This is an easy course to get around walking. It's also a good course for beginners. Not too much pressure, shorter holes and not many hazards. And pull carts are included. The price is right.
It sure beats the $100.00+ at other courses near Disney you would have to pay for kids. In Orlando, kid rates i noticed were "up to" 12 years old.
I have 15 and 17 year old daughters who i still consider kids and most courses wanted $100.00. Try this one if you have teens, it will keep them occupied and they won't get bored.
Nice par three ...
this is a nice par three ... only nine holes. Only complaint is that by the time you are warmed up you are done. However, nice distraction from all the Disney chaos and Orange Lake Resort happenings. At $9, this is a deal.
good course for those of use that dont walk that much anymore
cuorse was in great shape. greens where a little slow price was fantastic and the staff very friendly. Wuold play here again and recomend it to anyone looking for a good guick warm up round.
Love this course
This was the first time I have played this course and I had a blast. It is a walking only course and has lights to play at night. Its the perfect combination! The course is quite a challenge due to its length, I also underestimated the focus it takes to hit a ball in the dark even though the course was well lit. Had we not played so much golf already, I would have played this course each night we were in town. I will be back! Awesome course!
Fun 9-hole Course
Nothing special but if you are looking for a walking 9-hole course this will do fine especially for price on Golf Now.
Perfect for the beginner or anyone who wants to work on their short game.
Fun course to play with your wife. It's friendly, yet enough bunkers to make it a challenge if you hit as many as I did.
We played once during the day and once at night.....the lighting is excellent and (You can easily see your ball flight even at over 200 yards at night)and best of all you can put away the sunscreen, if you have fair skin like I have.A great price for 9 holes of fun!!
Great Par 3
Great par 3 course, can even make it a par 4 when playing from the blues. Course is in excellent condition, greens are true.
Nice and open for golfers that have trouble with accuracy
Good coarse for beginners to moderate skill levels
Very Nice Par 3
We played here on Saturday night. Very quite and was not busy at all. The holes were very interesting, not real challenging, but not too boring either.
Should be good for families and anyone who wants to hone their iron game. Being 'lighted' is a BIG plus.
Overall good. Legends walk.
This 9 hole walking course was a great way to get back into the swing of the game. Course was well kept and not crowded and the staff friendly. They even provide the pull carts in the price.
Great course to get acclimated to Florida.
Good course to start playing in Florida. It helps getting use to Bermuda grass and acclimates you to Florida weather. It is a nice challenging par three course that can be played at night.
Nice walking course
The best par three course I've played. Arnold Palmer designed
