The Lakes Golf Club

Perfect weather for a round of golf. Paired up with a couple super nice guys. Course was in pretty good shape until we ran into the geyser on the green at 14. Apparently a water line had busted. Other than that a good day..

This golf course is a nice par 63 course which is in good overall condition. Most par 3s with some 4s and one par 5. you are able to use most of your woods and irons around the course. Their are a couple of tricky water holes but for the most part it is relatively easy course. Staff were friendly and they have a nice putting green prior to going on your round.Its good for the average golfer and good value for the money

This is strictly an executive course and not a course that let;s you use all the clubs in your bag ,except the 18th hole. Too short for most players looking for a typical 18 hole layout .Ok to play if you want to use a lot of shorter irons

Enjoyed our return visit to The Lakes where we always receive a friendly welcome. The course is a good layout, in need of some tlc when money becomes available. A very enjoyable afternoon.

This is a good short course. Mostly par threes but still a challenge. The fairways were ok but the greens were not so good. The greens had some bad streaks and were a bit rough. Still a nice little course.

The course was in much better shape than the last time I was there about 2 months ago. Course was pretty busy so play was quite slow, paired up with a couple super nice guys. Enjoyed a day off from work.. Always a nice course to work on your irons and short game.

We got a great online price for golf with a power cart so tried Lady Lakes. Enjoyed the course layout and would score better next time as there were hazards we could not see and didn't know were there such as water in valleys. Course is shorter then most and the greens are not the best but I've seen several others in Florida that were worse. Day was cold and just over 50 degrees.... was supposed to warm up but didn't. Getting a bit disappointed with the weather down here after coming so far. Anyway fairways were OK but not great as it appears the grass was whatever was growing there at the time the course was built. For the online special price we paid the course was fine so if we could get the same price again we would probably play again here. Could not justify the regular price however. Really enjoying the challenging layout.....

The greens still need better grass coverage and consistency. But overall, much improved over this past summer.

A fun course for a warm up round or just to get out and play. I play from the blues, and my Dad from the yellows. Only one 5, the rest are a few 4's and mostly 3's so it plays fast. I played by myself and was done in 95 minutes.

This is a small executive type coarse, short with minimal challenges. I played late Monday morning as a single. Naturally I caught up with the couple in front of me by the fourth hole, from that point on I waited to play every shot. I thought that they would allow me to play thru when, on hole # 12, the husband came back to find a club that he had misplaced however the wife stood in the middle of the fairway while he drove backwards not letting me play thru.

Excellent layout. After a 2 month sabbatical from golf, the 4 sets of tees allow one to choose how quickly the game can be regrooved. The greens are furry and not in great condition but was a fun day and we will play it again. Always play it a couple of times at the start of our annual vacation. This course is really wonderful for seniors, children and golfers trying to refind their game or work with ther irons. The range is always our first visit.

They are starting to get the course in much better shape

Played several times in the past; course was always in reasonable shape for the price. This time it was as bad as it gets. Conditions resembled an abandoned cow pasture. You were lucky if the greens had weeds to putt on. What grass was left hasn't been cut for weeks, on the tees, greens or in between. Too bad, because it is a somewhat interesting course. I would wait until next year to see if the winter improves the conditions. In the meantime, let the buyer beware!

In 50 years of playing golf this is the worst golf course I have ever played!

The greens are in the worst shape in years. Short course that has some character. Fairways are good, but the greens will keep us from coming back for a while.
