The Lakes Golf Club

this course is good for the price. however I find that this course and many more in florida does not have enough water stations. it's hot out there and they need more water

I would definitely come back, didn’t expect 5 star layout for what we paid..

course is improving every week new owners are trying very hard to get course back in good shape

I book this course, this is one that we have not played at the time. we arrived , my hubby son and I with our 4 yr old granddaughter. my son was only here for a few days from PA where he works. hes gone a 3 months at a time. once we got there he was informed that our granddaughter could not be on the course. it was not stated on their web site nor on golf now or on any walls, doors at their facility. I was angry. we always take her with us and our 6 yr old daughter when we go play. sometimes we have to pay $ 5-10 for an extra rider. not at this course. we had a civil argument, while I was on hold with golf now, he stated he dont know of any course that allows children this course is rough and bumpy. I said we just played at sherman hills, thats way more rough, steep hills/mountains ect. she was fine there. I named all the courses that we play and and never a problem with our children this course is nothing compared to courses we have played at. so I'm still on hold to get my money back and eventually we were able to play only if I signed a piece of paper relinquishing them from being liable if something happen to her. not a problem I did that.. I assured him she would be fine and she was.. he was a nice man indeed, but I guess he was following their policy which should have been posted on line, and on their establishment doors, windows ect.. We will NOT be going back.. the course needs A LOT of TLC. was it worth the money I paid? No! now Sherman Hills is the course to play.. Love that course!

Perfect weather and great company with my wife for birthday. Course is getting better and better every time I get out there. Love the course because it give me a chance to work on my iron play and short game. If I could only master #8. Lol

The course was good to play. Thought we were getting a discounted price until the "convenience fee + tax" was added onto the price. Guess I don't understand why the golf course and Golf Now can't display the cost of play without passing on a convenience fee + tax for booking. I plan to call corses directly from on to get "the" price up front.

This is a great course for the money. Great for practicing different clubs.

Short but nice course. Greens need a bit of work but are playable. Interesting layout....

We always look forward to a round at The Lakes, where we received a very friend,y welcome from all the staff. The course is a good layout, with many improvements having been made to the condition in recent years.

ive seen this place go from terrible to great, an now its going down hill again ?..whats goin on?..so many improvements to the course an facility over the past 3 months an now the greens are back to plywood ?........the guy at the front desk is to slow...and has no clue what he's doin......and its the height of "snowbird season" ?.....granted the building is clean now but I stood in line with a reservation already made days before, an the guy on the register couldn't handle 4 guys in front of me for 15 minutes ?..ya gotta be faster then that !

Good course, my wife likes this shorter but not easy course. New Owners seem to be doing many improvements,all good. I just hope they don' t raise the price too much more then they have already have! Watch out, the course charges more than quoted on golf now reservation.

We golf this course usually once a week, I have never been held up like this before, there was a 4 some who didn’t let anyone play thru & they were very slow, there was a twosome behind them, then a father and young son who was playing more than golfing , then a single golfer in front of us, then our twosome and a twosome behind us and on & on!! It took us over 30 minutes to play two holes!!! It was horrible we didn’t even golf the last hole because of it!!

Course is already looking better, lots of tree work, irrigation work and general cleanup is really paying off, this is gonna be one to watch folks, I see great things happening here!
