Do not play here
Course totally unplayable. Hasn't been watered or maintained in months.
Unplayable
Staff informed us that the irrigation system has not worked in 7 weeks. the greens were non existent just dirt weeds and mold tracks
bad
I paid for everyone to play 18 holes but the course was so bad we quit after 7. The fairways were like cow pastures and the greens had just little pieces of grass here and there which really made putting hard. I was so embarrassed to take my friends there.
Course just needs to close don completely
We have played this course many times over the years. Always just in ok condition. We like it to help 10 and 12 year old grandsons to learn the game. It is now not even decent enough for that. Tried the first 3 holes and called it a day. Our horse pasture is in better shape.
Just shut it down at this point
This course used to be a decent, cheap course to work on your short game, and it would scratch the itch to hit driver on a few holes. 3-4 years ago the greens got hit with a fungus and this course has never recovered. It used to be $27 for 18 with a cart. I got a hot deal for $14.99 for 18 and cart. Could not have been more disappointed. Found out by the sign on the door that the back 9 ways closed. The front desk lady told me I was late for my tee time. I checked in at 7:42 for my 8:00 tee time. The greens are a combination of dirt with cracks in it, patches of various grasses, and on the first hole you find 2 flags (one red and one white) without any direction on which on to aim at until you get in the green to see the numbers. I didn’t think a $15 round of golf could be disappointing but after 9 holes, I didn’t have it in me to play the same barren wasteland that the front 9 is. Close this course down and put some money and effort into reviving it.
Course maintenance
I haven't played this course in a few years. It used to be a pretty nice course. Now the fairways are cow pastures and the greens are non existent .I read the notice that they were hand watering the greens, but they need to inform the public that this course is in non-playable condition.
This course should not be on this website.
The greens are in an unplayable condition, and the fairways are a mess.
Signage at the course, not mentioned on this website, indicated that the irrigation system is broken, and hand watering is being used.In addition to the aforementioned issues, the decisive factor was that the course is now a 9-hole course of the advertised 18 holes.
Greens gone, well down and half the course sold for housing, so down to 9 holes.
Terrible shape
The tee boxes and fairways were terrible but the price was so low with a hot deal I could’ve lived with that. But the greens were the worst i have ever seen on any course in my life. All of the greens were bad but a few in particular there was not grass at all just dirt and sand.
The course was in such poor condition that it made it difficult to play.
Poor Conditions
Fairways & T Boxes sparse, and full of weeds. Lacking maintenance. Very little grass on the greens. Pretty much impossible to putt. It could be a decent course but will need a lot of work.
Nice day
The course is not in the best condition and the greens are brown but understandable in this extreme drought..But the day was nice, we could play at our own pace, and I needed the practice.
Nothing to complain about
Just imagine you are playing course conditions the Scots had when they were developing the game back in the 1800's. Before mowers, irrigation, fertilizers and weed control. Just dig a hole, plant a flag in it and go from there. You will get an authentic experience here at a very reasonable price.
Yes, the conditions are poor here by today's standards, so don't expect much. But it is a nice layout that I have played many times before; it just doesn't get better. More fun than standing on a driving range, hitting off a mat.
Rough shape
I like the layout, and it's a fun short course, but it is in terrible condition right now. The fairways are turning to sand and the greens are almost unplayable.
Tee and greens are horrible
Funny thing they had sand on the tee boxes so if you make a divot replace it with sand. Though they were already sand.
9 years ago when I started playing golf i liked the course but everything was bad.
The carts need work 1st one I got had a flat tire and the second had a bad seat the third was just missing a hub cap.
The greens were horrible. I know it's been through many owners in the past 5 years. But spend some money to make some money.
