About
Eaglebrooke, located in Lakeland -- halfway between Orlando and Tampa, is considered one of the premier golf courses in Florida. Its classic links-style design with over 100 feet of elevation change is unique in this part of the state. Natural lakes, abundant with wildlife, can come into play on eleven of the holes creating both spectacular scenery and challenging golf shots. To increase the challenge, there are six sets of tees on each hole. The "seniors" tees were customed designed for the course by architect Ron Garl. Garl requested Senior Golf Magazine to survey seniors for optimal playing preferences and then included these requests in the course design. The atmosphere is first class and the course features bag pick-up at your car. Eaglebrooke was the first course in the US to use Greg Norman's GN 1 grass, the fastest growing and greenest grass available.

This is always a premium course. Great layout, nice conditions and well run. Will continue to play
Like it more every time we play
The more we play this course, the more we like it more. Ron Garl is one of our favorite golf course designers and this one may be our favorite.
The fairways were the best we've seen in a few months, the greens were fast and consistent, (even though we played on a Monday and they had just top dressed with light sand and water).
Hope to get back as often as we can.

Just Moved To Florida
This is a great place to play! The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. They knew this was my first time to play and was courteous enough to give me a tour of the course. The starter was super friendly as well and even asked me how my round was after finishing up. Definitely will be playing here again

Outstanding golf course in the Lakeland area
The course is outstanding. Everything about this course is fantastic. The staff were friendly and courteous and the condition of the course was great. It is a must play if you are in the area.

Awesome Round
What a beautiful course! Greens were awesome, staff could not have been more friendly. Pace was a bit slow on the back 9 but staff was apologetic . It was a Sunday afternoon round so not a surprise. Layout is great and I loved the course. Everyone there was great!

Course conditions were generally good. Greens a little too grainy and firm. Pace of play good on front nine but funereal on back nine. No grass on practice tee that was open. Staff was friendly and courteous. Will plan to return later this winter.

Lakeland Gem
Although it was chilly and overcast, my wife and I had an awesome day at Eaglebrook. The course layout is fantastic...you might even think you are not in Florida with some of the elevation changes. Staff was excellent, Jamie was very quick to bring us a couple Irish coffees on course. Pace of play was great and greens were fast and true.

Challenging course and perhaps a different layout than most Florida golfers will be used to. Staff is very friendly- fairways were a little spotty - greens in good condition. Probably two of the best finishing holes around

Consistently good
This course is a gem in central Florida. Greens were a bit slow today but the layout makes up for it. Will play here as often as possible.

Great course but greens were a little slow and bumpy
Live the layout here and have played several times over the years. This was the 1st time I’ve seen the greens so slow, almost like they hadn’t been cut in a couple of days. Everything else was in great shape.
