Cleveland Heights is one of my favorite courses in Lakeland ... a very good value

Fine muni
Visitor playing course for first time. This is a course of which Lakeland residents should be proud. Played A&C. A=8/10. C=6/10. Overall 7/10. (C just reopened after maintenance. Some T's/greens could have used closer mowing.) Roomy off T's. Nicely designed golf course. Conditions overall were good. Hot deal made this very affordable, but paying regular price would still have made the round a good value.

Disappointed
Greens were being redone two years ago when I was last there. Still as bad as ever.

We started over seeding on the C greens yesterday and we will do the other two courses over the next three weeks. good course but club house had nothing to offer as for as drinks, food tv, camaraderie, etc

Great course
This is a great course right in the middle of Lakeland. A fairly open course but has alot of elevation changes and fast greens. there are 3 nine hole courses. I played the A&B courses. I really liked this club and will play it again when i am in the area.

Poor condition
I have played the course a number of times and this was the worst I have seen the greens, they were woolly and very slow.
On finishing the round there were no catering facilities

Thanks for your feedback. We aerified all three courses in the last 3 weeks of September, unfortunately maintenance practices affects playability throughout the year. Excellent course
Course was very wet and the 2nd nine had the greens aerated which made the putting bad.
The restaurant was closed and after a "hot" day, nothing to drink! Was very disappointed.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience on the food & beverage operation, but drinks and snacks are available in the pro-shop. Getting better
I've played here several times over the past several years. It's not my first choice, but the price is usually good and pace of play is usually ok. I've been there when I wanted to leave because of the conditions, but they seem to be working hard to improve. The layout is interesting and you need to hit various shots. Not real long, but who needs that?:) 3 nines make for a nice "new" look each time. I'll play there a couple of times before the end of the year.

things are getting better but still some work to do
Played A and C sides.
Tees and fairways fine.
A side greens recently aerated and top dress so very slow.
C sides greens mostly good . Some repair patches on some of them.
Bar and restaurant closed for renovations.

Worst greens i have ever seen
The greens have sheets of sod on them half of them are not laying flush over 80 percent of greens have them sometimes half of the greens are covered by them was a waste of my money and time!

The course is in okay condition right now, but I'd definitely play it again.
The greens are not in great shape, but not bad enough to complain. The course is typically in very good condition. I've played here many times over the years and love it.

Nice little track to work on all facets of the game
As long as the greens are decent and right now they are this place is great. Mark in the shop is always nice to deal with and the starters are all good guys. This place gets a lot of play and I believe they redid the greens not too long ago. Give it a chance if you're close by and the food is pretty solid too.

Value for the Buck
Nines A & C were in fairly decent condition and the greens rolled well. Spotty areas as is the case with course as it has lots of play and tournaments. Staff is excellent and cart lady friendly.
Thanks for the feedback about the staff and facility. The recent rain and the aerifications we just did were much needed. We will be doing a curfew application on June 13th, 14th and 15th to offset high nematoad counts from recent soil samples. Good value
Course was in pretty good condition despite the lack of much needed rain. Greens were the hardest surface that I have played in this part of Florida

Great Value -But"
I really like this course, but play courses "A" and "C" if you can. The "B" course is in rougher shape. The greens on B are in need of work but it looks like they are working on them. The greens and fairways are good on the other two courses. Very scenic with lots of wildlife on warm days.
