A8 green. They didn’t even mentioned they had punched the greens, much less this atrocity. Photo submitted by MichaelOBRIGHT on 06/11/2019

Sunday morn round
Once we made it past the Starter it went better. Starter seemed to be over whelmed or confused trying to start 3 different 9's. With 3 nines a,b and c, who to start where, then where to turn? Arrived 30 min early tee'd off 15 min late. The course was in good shape for Feb. Greens fast an hard. Overall we enjoyed our round.
Mark, thanks for the feedback. I spoke with staff about the Sunday issues. We have a new starter who is doing a real good job, but got hit pretty hard Sunday. Instead of keeping the rotations from course to course he moved some groups to other nines causing some back-ups. This has been addressed moving forward. We have a great team here and sorry for any inconvenience to you and your group. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Poor Golf Management
Played the Heights for the first time in two years. Day was horrible from the start. The course tried to jam early morning tees times out ahead of a scramble to the point were fivesomes were playing on the course. The starter was cantankerous and didn't have the time of day for us, other than to say "get on the box, you're next off" . The ranger was out in the morning but never saw him in the afternoon. The threesome in front of took 5-10 minutes per shot, waiting from 220+ yds to hit their second shot to the green and then dribbled it 10 yards. Round took 4 hrs 30 mins to play. I confronted the starter after our round and he had nothing to say but, "we tell everyone to expect 2 hrs per nine" Been golfing for 30+ years, WORST course management I have ever witnessed. You can guarantee I will spread a negatice word about The Heights to my fellow golfers on MacDill Air Force Base.
slow greens
greens were really slow ,it looked like they replaced different spots on the greens with new sod , . Pace of play was very good ,it only took 4 hours and 5 minutes
Thanks for the feedback. Green speeds are a little slower during the Winter months as we over seed them. The rye grass protects the Bermuda grass from the cold weather and the volume of play we get from December thru April. There is a couple of areas that sod was replaced. Stop by and say hello on your next visit. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Cleveland Heights Lakeland Fl.
Nice layout but somewhat confusing with the number of hole crossovers for the 3 nines. Course in good shape, greens were excellent and pace of play impressive. We were 3 hours and 15 minutes. Will definitely return.
Mark, thanks for the feedback and the kind words. We are going to address the signage to improve playability. We are glad that you had a great golf experience and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

A nice find
Booked Cleveland Heights last minute while awaiting car repair in Lakeland. Pleasantly surprised by a nice course (VERY women friendly for a change of pace from the longer tracks I've been playing in Central Florida). Friendly staff, course in good condition, and paired with an especially nice couple made for a VERY nice day (except that the car dealership didn't look at our car after a 3-day wait).
Debra, thanks so much for the feedback and nice comments. Hopefully we see you in the future, not just when you car is not running well (LOL). We are so glad that you had a great day at CHGC. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Thanks for your feedback and your continued support of CHGC. We appreciate hearing that you have a very good golf experiences at CHGC. Brock Witmyer (GM)

Nice Course
The staff was friendly and the facility was great. We liked the course except that the fairways were somewhat bare, greens were in good shape and we played 18 in around 4 hours. There is some confusion regarding the three nines come together. Better sign direction would help. Would definitely play the course again.
Mr. Newman, thank you so much for the feedback. We do not over seed the fairways with Rye grass in the Winter like we do with greens, tees, approaches and collars. The Bermuda grass in the fairways goes dormant and off color, but playability is not affected. We will evaluate the signage and the positioning of it. Thanks again and we are glad enjoyed your golf experience at CHGC. We look forward to seeing you soon. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Nice course, confusing layout
This was our first time at the course. Course was fine with decent course conditions and some challenging holes (we're certainly not pro's!). However finding the next hole tee off was difficult due to lack of or poor signage signage and long distance between greens and tee blocks. The course layout on the scorecard was too small to read and we got lost several times trying to find the next tee block. We noted a few other people with the same issue. I would still recommend the course.
Thanks for the feedback Earl. We will evaluate the signage and the positioning of it. Glad you enjoyed the golf course and look forward to seeing you in the future.

Not bad for a public course
27 holes. Tee boxes were the best feature of course. Fairways were ok. Greens a little hard and very slow. Played A to C. There were a couple holes where you went cross country from green to next tee. But with a cart no big deal. Tough walk though. Drove 45 min. to play. Not sure I'd do that again.
Thanks for your feedback. The over seed in the Winter months slows the green speeds down. We must over seed to protect the Bermuda grass during the Winter and we also do over 62,000 golf rounds annually. Having that amount of volume we must protect the greens. We do not over seed fairways, so the Bermuda grass goes off color during the Winter months. We hope to see you in the Spring and Summer here at CHGC. Thanks Brock Witmyer (GM)
greens
fairways need help,,,but because of the way the greens are protected by bunkers makes it a really cool course,,some of the greens need help too,,your drive can be very imporant for your next shot to the green,,if not then your shot to the green has to be over a big bunker,,,even some of the little par 4s can be tougher thank you think,, your thinking birdie ,, next thing you know your trying to par,,its a fun course,,
Johnny, thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed your golf experience at CHGC. We do not over seed fairways in the Winter time, which causes the Bermuda grass to go dormant and off color due to cool temperatures especially at night. The turf is still strong and healthy. We are addressing those couple of areas on a couple greens. The Heights is a fun place to play golf and we look forward to seeing you in the future. Brock Witmyer (GM)
Great course
Excellent course
Greens were slow but manicured perfectly
If I have any complaint it would be that the sand trap I visited was packed and extremely hard.
I played A & C (don't know the names). This was my first round there and is now my favorite.
Tony, A course represents Azalea / B course represents Boganvilia / C course represents Camelia Native flowers to Florida.
Thanks again
Tony, thanks for taking the time to share the good experience that you had at CHGC. Our greens roller was down and we have rectified that issue. The storms and bad weather we had this past Sunday into Monday morning affected course conditions and we were unable to mow greens on Monday. We received a much needed 1.5 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. We are glad that CHGC has moved to the top of your golf course list and we want to remain there. Please stop in and say hello on your next visit. Brock Witmyer (GM)
