About
Links of Sandpiper in Lakeland offers a traditional links layout that sprawls across rolling terrain. The course is player friendly enough for players of all skill levels to enjoy but it has enough challenges for more advanced players as well. The course is anything but flat, and the ups and downs are the most challenging element you'll encounter. The small, undulating greens and narrow landing areas off of the fairways demand accuracy. Combined with elevation changes and strategically placed bunkers, proper club selection and course management also play important roles. Picking the right lines from the tees into the greens requires careful thought. You'll face a few blind shots thanks to the rolling terrain and there are also several bunkers strategically placed along the greensides. Links of Sandpiper's final four holes are the toughest stretch.

No Golfshot Readings
The course is good. Greens played true, fairways were cut well. The only complaint was that Golfshot and other distant assistants did not work or load on this course since hole modifications were made.

Decent course
Not a bad course. A little tight and hilly for a newbie like me but not a bad course.

enjoyable lot of different holes
you will want to play this track a few times and its worth it very good greens nice fairways and friendly staff I will be back

Interesting course, more so after the first 2 holes which were kind of so-so. Greens were quick and in good shape. Will play again.

Great golf!
Played with 8 buddies. Quirky layout. Greens were in good shape with sneaky breaks. No driving range. Large warm up net, putting and chipping greens. Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. They were genuinely happy to see you. This course was an hour from my home , one way, but worth the drive. For a good time, play this course!

Interesting
First time. Played 18 holes in 2:45 on a Thursday. Pro shop great. Course is first time tricky. Really need a course book. Risky penalty area locations , fairways not well defined and greens a little rough but putt true.

Sandpiper course is Great
Previous review I made on 7-4-21i made a wrong selection my review was negative but it wasn’t about sandpiper links it was about schalamar cheek what a swamp. Sandpiper golf course is great to play and great staff and bar and restaurant.
