What eclipse
We had a nice outing at Ibis landing, it was a bit of a drive but worth it!
The course was in great shape greens were fast and challenging.
I is has plenty of terrain changes so it felt like a norther course rather than the same old Florida flat sand and water.
My only complaint was the starter could have been a bit nicer as both my wife and I thought him to be a bit rude, (might be season getting long)
We will add Ibis landing to our play list as it was still a nice day out.
Course is in great condition
It has been awhile since i played this course. Last played it as Copperhead course. It is indeed challenging but very playable. The course is in great condition. The carts were excellent and offered many options such as GPS and even music if you wished. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Fully intend to visit this course again.
Fair Value
Course in good shape, slow play no ranger, starter was full of himself, temporary cart paths between construction areas.
Great layout, with diversity of holes.
Always liked this course as the layout is interesting, with alot of different features.
Doglegs, short holes ,long holes, elevated greens, water hazards . Really makes you think your way around,as there is trouble lurking everywhere.
Course is in great shape to top it all off.
Makes Foran enjoyable experience.
Should have walked
Concrete fairways and greens. Should have walked off the course after the 1st few holes.
Never Again
If you play the course, hit a bucket of balls first OUT IN THE PARKING LOT because you can't leave a divot in the hardened fairways and nothing holds on the greens like a parking lot. And from what I was told by a resident of the area, they are adding 900 new homes adjacent to many of the fairways which is currently under construction. It was the worst of the 4 courses I played during my brief stay in Florida and I'm kicking myself for not walking off after the first few holes.
Nice course
Wouldn’t expect to find a course like this in Lehigh acres. Lots of construction as they build the golf community around the course. Some blind shots and a few holes are hard to know where to hit. Have to crisscross on cart paths to get to next hole. Overall a good course in great condition.
Greens and pin placement
Pin placements never in a spot other than behind a trap or near a flatter surface. Played 6 times and they are always in the same area. Greens are very difficult with too many Undulations. Other than than Lewis did a fair job
Course was in good shape. Much better than when it was Copperhead.
will get even better
Fun course to play. Homes are still being built so routing was awkward but well marked. Holes were interesting & greens were very challenging.Very firm fairways & greens added to the challenge. Look forward to playing again.
