Greens were a little hard and wouldn’t hold the balls

I have played this course many times in the past but it has been closed the least the last three years when it reopened it this past May and put a lot of money into it. The course was always very good but now it is Great the greens are fast an through the boxes are great. Bunkers are really good and fairways are good too. .They have many key boxes for all types of golfers .The staff is very friendly , especially the lady inside the pro shop she was a wonderful, so nice professional. I wish I could remember her name. I wrote it down but lost it lol you should absolutely try the scores. You’ll you’ll enjoy it.

This course is tough for me and it was windy this day, which made it even more difficult. Tees, fairways and greens are in very good shape. The greens are fast and undulating. Strongly recommend this course.

My review is only relevant to those who really like early morning speedy rounds. I has a 718am hot deal. No one at 709am so first tee time out. Playing with a couple of older guys who just waved me through after 2 holes. I took off as a single and seemed to run into grounds crew on every hole. And they didn't ever back off or get out of the way. By comparison, I played at Old Corkscrew 4x the same week. Every time the grounds crew saw me coming they would back off immediately. Give me a few seconds to hit and I am gone. Ibis grounds crew just keep doing their thing oblivious to a single. To be fair, old corkscrew at 700am is a $250 round and their membership is $15k a year. Very different prices points than a $90 hot deal. Classic get what you pay for. And only relevant to early morning speedster.

The course was in good shape. Was challenging so foutuately, we were paired with a twosome that was familiar with the course. The greens we challenging, but seemed true. The staff was friendly enough. I’d definitely play this course again.

Nice golf course with some challenging holes and some nice birdie opportunities. Only real faults of the course was pace…took 4:45 to play 18 because a group that was two groups ahead were beginner golfers and were fishing for balls etc. No issue with beginner golfers as we were all there at some point, but if you’re a beginner, play quickly. No need to putt out for a 10… Regardless the round was ok and the layout was nice. You can tell it gets a lot of play because there are numerous divots in the fairway. Greens were difficult to read because they are typical grainy bermuda (not courses fault, it’s just that kind of grass). They were also really firm. Overall though, I’d go back and play.

Good layout , wicked greens and nuce grass but subdivision being installed in the middle of course detracts from experience.

Pace of play was slow in late afternoon. Ranger was unhelpful in speeding up pace. We replayed front nine to get 18 holes in. Would not have finished if we played 10 -18.

The course was in decent condition and the pace of play was better than I expected it to be. We played in under 4 hours (we had a 1:45 tee time) and two of the guys I was paired with weren’t very good. Several holes are probably harder than the normal traffic would want, including a par 3 with a forced carry of over 200 yards. All-in-all I thought it was pretty good.
