HOPING FOR MORE
We hadn't played this couse for several years because it was always in terrible condition. We were hoping, since they have new owners, that the conditions had improved. But, no such luck. Tee boxes are just dirt and weeds, fairways have almost no grass, just mostly dirt, the greens are probably the best but they still need lots of work. Won't play here again until we see the reviews improve.

Changing the name, was a good idea to bring me back
They just changed the name from Majestic to Wildcat Crossing, the course is in the worst condition a golf course can be.

Fun course
Greens are in great shape. Rest of course needs work. Played 18 in about 2.30 hours as a two some.

Under new management? Really? Sorry but this place is bad.
It was better than my last round over the summer. In the summer, one of the ponds in the corner of the course had a layer of dead tilapia stinking up that corner of the golf course.
I went back because it is close to me. I won't make that mistake again.
The grass at the tees was virtually non-existent because of how dried out it has become. It was half sand. Its like teeing off from a bunker. Check out my photo.
This place hasn't received maintenance in a long time. Look at the photo of the hole marker with all of the mold and moss that grew on it.
A couple of the ponds were covered in green slime. At least they werent covered in dead fish this time. Check out my photo.

Needs help
2 years ago it was a reasonable place to play for the money. Last year turned out to be on a downhill slide. This year I barely recognized the place in its poor condition

The course is burnt out. The greens were ok but
Everything else was fried. We could harp get a tee

Not impressed
Check-in was great but it was downhill from there very little grass in fairways mostly just sand and dirt Greens were bumpy with several bare spots Course wasn’t well marked so getting from hole to hole was a challenge at times Was put out as a single which was fine but was stuck behind a foursome for the last 15 holes so what should have been a 3 1/2 hour round was 4: 3/4 hrs Probably will not play there again at any price On a positive note the Bar/Restaurant was very good

Great price and I can see why, the course is very rough, hope they can fix it.
Fairways were dead and dusty , the greens were fair sand traps were full of weeds.

Getting Better
I live on the course. I have seen its ups and downs. Mostly downs for the last year or so. I can say that the new ownership has really put in the time and money to make this a top notch course. I hope to see it continue to improve.

Give It Time
New ownership! For the money, you can't beat it. The staff are fantastic and friendly. The food will shock you and ice cold beer. Greens are way better than last year. Thumbs up to the new owner. Keep up the great work and let's see what's next. Yeah , the fairways and tees need work. Rome wasn't built in a day. Thanks for a great time. See you all soon. Janet and adixie rule!

Don't have high expectations
The tea boxes are 1 out of 10 the fairways are mostly 3 out of 10 but the greens are 7 to 8 out of 10. Overall it wasn't a bad day and the staff is kind but don't have crazy expectations for the course

Majestic was always a cheap rough course
Wildcat Run, fairways and greens even worse..It is what it is.Cheap and in disrepair. Sandy fairways, scarred greens and dusty tee box’s. As long as it’s cheap, there is a value.
