Bad
Worst experience I’ve ever had playing golf, I wouldn’t play here if I got paid to do it.
The good,the bad,and the ugly
Good: layout,value,greens...bad: no water on course,some fairways no grass...ugly: most tee boxes

Nice layouts and fun to play
If you are an old snob or a pretentious jerk skip this course. The staff is great and friendly, the bar has cold beer and liquor and the course offers a fun and a bit challenging game. Yes, the conditions are not perfect but still you can play enjoyable game. Watch for your slice on Hole 13 as you might hit a car on the road (:

We played this course under majestic- management several years ago and remembered it in much better condition..
Staff is very friendly, however course needs lot of improvement- I.e. tee boxes, fairways, course directions etc.

Wildcat (Majestic)
Not perfect conditions, but pretty good. They are improving, knowing what needs to be done and working on those aspects. The woman checking in patrons was very friendly and helpful. They need a water station. Overall, it was very good day of golf.

Just come play it
I was skeptical to come here reading all the reviews. But all those people are just straight up nerds. I walked in, lady at the desk was super nice, showed me everything I needed, and explained that the course is under new ownership. But in all reality I didn’t care about the conditions of the course, I just want to play golf. I finished 18 holes in 2 1/2 hours. That never happens. I was also allowed to play by myself, not paired with anyone which was fantastic. Greens look like they will be very nice soon, fairways need a little love, it’s hard to find your ball sometimes, but the fairways are pretty open and for some reason this was 100% my favorite round of golf I’ve played in Lee County. Just go play golf.

Going through a rough patch
Great layout, amazing staff going through course improvements so just needs a little TLC and then it’s a 5 in my book challenging yet fun and fair course hope to see it thriving soon!

Terrible Course
This was my first time playing this course, and was Incredibly dissapointed. The course conditions were awful, a mixture of weeds and brush on the tee boxes, unmowed “greens” that were the height of fairways and roughs. Course signs and directions were so mangled we got lost multiple times. Over all conditions on fairways, tee boxes, greens were almost unplayable.
Pictures of course shown are extremely outdated.Only reason pace of play is 3 stars is because the course was empty (Now we know why).
I understand the place was just purchased, new owners. I see a lot of work going on. Both with structures and the course. And strides made when I go. Besides I don't have to worry too much while I'm out there teaching the grandkids. Givem' a chance.

Kinda golf
If you just want to practice hitting to targets it’s ok for the money but in really rough shape. Greens are horrible. Got a long ways to go before it’s really a playable course.

Needs work
Great wildlife and scenery, but the golf isn't great.
Greens are destroyed - even rolling a ball by hand to watch it bounce all over the place - it's like putting on a driveway.
Fairways and Tee boxes are not really grass, just a lot of short weeds. Good luck taking a divot!

Wildcat Crossing/Majestic, it is the same
At least the fairways were mowed and clear of cut grass today. No lost balls in the middle of the fairway. New ownership, hopefully with plans. 2 years to bring course conditions up. With new owners, no alcohol license yet. Grille is open, sorta. I calling from cart for food at the turn, make sure you talk to someone to order. May require several calls to pro shop. Would like to see this course make it.

Redneck pro shop lady with food always stuck in her teeth is always kind of rude, but especially rude this time. Not worth it to come back.

Needs LOTS of TLC
If you like to lose your balls on the fairways this course is for you, fairways are overgrown and greens are just mostly sand. If you’re looking for a friendly and welcoming course I would try and avoid this one if you can. The price is ok for what it is, all things considered.
They are also stating course is under new management and good things are coming. If this course had been cleaned up and well taken care of it would have been great for the money and the drive. But as it right now, I would try and stay far away.

Course is in poor shape. Greens are not puttable. Bare in much of the greens. Fairways lack grass to hit from. Tee boxes also poor. New owners just took over so nothing was being done to keep up the course. They have plans to make better in the future.
