The Links of Naples

About
The Links of Naples sits at the southernmost tip of the Sunshine State's west coast in the golfing mecca that is southwest Florida. The golf course is one of the area's best executive layouts. The par-61 layout offers several challenging par 4s that stretch over 300 yards in length. You'll face a variety of challenges throughout the course, from the continuous mounding to the bunkers strategically placed along the elevated greens. Water also has a prominent presence, you'll find it on nearly every hole. At just over 4,000 yards from the back tees, it might seem short but it offers enough of a test for an interesting round. The Links of Naples' 17th hole is the back nine's toughest par 4, requiring an accurate tee shot before the second shot to a long narrow green.

Good course for the money
Some of the greens are small and super slow but in total the course provides an easy quick round and
Poor service.
They sent out a walk on twosome in front of us at OUR tee time. Since we had to wait at that point everything was slow. Not only did that happen on the front nine, but another twosome cut in front of us going onto the back nine.
Bottomline is - you get what you pay for.
Never again will we go to the Links.
Nice short course
Played there a handful of times, passed other full-size courses to get there. Tees and fairways always in good shape. Greens always playable, although slow sometimes due to sprinklers. Good course for beginner player. Night golf a plus, esp. in Fla. where it can be stupid hot 4 months out of the year. Cheap snack bar.
Good course to practice the short game
Good course to practice the short game.good value for money.Pace was okay and good carts.
Reason Executive Practice Course
Finding a reasonably priced round of golf in Naples this time of year is almost impossible. This little course fits the bill. Just realize that the condition of the greens is not very good. However, as a short game practice facility (putting obviously not included) it was just fine. Some opportunities to hit a driver, and the Par 3's from the back tees were challenging. Overall I had an enjoyable experience, it was a good value, and the staff was friendly. Play was slow, but that was expected on a beautiful day this time of year.
there was a little challange with all the water
I would like to play the course at night and then rate it . The portapotty was all messed up(no toilet seat and no toilet paper
and needed some air fresh and hand sanitizer)
Fun course...greens are so so
Staff was friendly and there was very little wait . Fun to play ......greens need cutting and more attention
excellent short course, driver can be used on quite a few holes,,,,
great short track, easy to find, driving range is great, floater balls.
Awful
One of the worst course I ever played, I paid 25 dollars and now I know why, if you want to keep your clients happy get rid of this course on golfnow,
Great course for your short game
Tee box and fairways are good but greens need some work.
Have played here several times--greens are slow and not the best--but overall worth the price
I live in a gated golf community in the area, but I often like to play a round here to get on course practice for the short game. But there are enough par 4's and longer par 3's to let you mix in the longer clubs. Besides the practice issue, it is an enjoyable course to play. s stated above, the greens are not in the condition that you would get in a country club community, but they are quite playable. A great value made even better on golfnow.
Great "couples" course
I played this course for the first time with my wife. On the day we were there many of the other groups were couples, and all appeared to be having fun.
I thought the course provided adequate challenge to me, a mid- handicapper while allowing my wife to play without the constant dread of losing balls in water.
The greens are small but held the ball well.
The par 4 s were mostly dog legged providing a temptation to shorten them with a drive over water.
I'll be playing the links of Naples again. I may even try the night golf under the lights.
Nice layout, very friendly staff.
Although the course isn't in great shape, the price was right. The staff was very accommodating, allowing us to start on the back nine as the front was packed. The layout is pretty nice and very playable, and the small greens putted surprisingly true considering their shaggy condition.
Many problems with the players
The court is short but prety. The peroblems stays in the great amount of beginners and old people. They are very slow, repeat the shots two o three times and dont care about people waiting behind. Nobodys control the situation and the application of the rules and the etiquette!
Decent executive course
The course was in decent shape, and has a good amount of variety for an executive course. You can even break out the driver from the back tees on a few holes. Like other executive courses I've played, the challenge on many holes is hitting the postage-stamp size greens. Once found, the greens weren't much to look at, but actually rolled at a pretty good speed.
You can get through this course in no time at all, unless you get stacked up behind some painfully slow foursomes...
With greens fees starting to triple everywhere else this time of year, you may find yourself settling for a round here, just for the sake of "getting out."
Haven't tried the lighted night play, so can't comment on that.
Excellent executive course. Several short par 4 holes. Good condition. Great value!
Played on a weekday afternoon. Very few other people on the course. Good condition, Great Value!
a short course, but fun for the once a week golfer
i like the course for the money and its fun for the higher handicap and older players.

a nice exectutive track
A nice executive track. OK for beginners, but choice of tees and smallish greens can make some shots more challenging for other more frequent players.
