SummerGlen Golf Club

My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. The course was in decent shape considering we haven’t had rain in a very long time. The employees were very friendly..especially a cart man who greeted us with delicious cookies!! Nice bar and restaurant which we didn’t use but it was very nice! Highly recommend! We actually went back the next day! :)

I recently played at SummerGlen and had a really enjoyable experience overall. The course is well-maintained, with fairways in solid condition and greens that roll true and consistent. It’s a great layout for both beginners and more experienced golfers

Slow play put a damper on an otherwise very pleasant round of golf. No Marshall to speed up play. We waited on every single shot for 18 holes.

The greens had a few burn out spots from the dry weather

Fairways were good. The course has a good layout and pace of play was good. They also have a nice practice facility. Staff was very friendly.

Played this course on my way through to Winter Park. The course is in ok condition for the lack of rain that most of Florida is experiencing. Greens played a little slow but are in pretty good condition. Fairways are dry, tee boxes also. Great bunkers, great staff. Howard was great!

Fairways are good. Most greens are good (a few are starting to get a little rough). Very playable course.

Some greens are a bit sketchy - playable, but most as nice as they were a month ago.

This was our 1st time playing summerglen, 1 of the few in the greater ocala area I have not played yet. The reviews seemed mostly positive, but a few were on the negative side,so I wasn't sure what to expect. On arrival, the process shop lady was very friendly, and the starter was great,offering up some donuts, and getting us set up to get out right away. When we mentioned it was our first time and weren't sure where to go,he escorted us to the 1st tee and showed us the 10th as well. On course,the conditions were great. Tee boxes well marked ,fairways had some of the nicest turf I've seen in central Florida in a long time. Some had mentioned poor greens,I saw a few spots that were sanded and healing,but they all rolled very true and at a consistent speed throughout the course. It was a nice surprise of a course, and a pretty good value as well. Do over for sure.

I have been playing this course regularly, and they had really turned it into one of the best around. However, the Greens have digressed quite a bit, very disappointing. Dry/rough spots on all of them, more so on the front 9.
