Not Good
Not much to add that has not already been said. If they are not going to maintain the course properly then it might as well close if it hasn't already. The layout seemed interesting however no grass means not a good round. Pace of play was good because there was only 1 other group there. Power carts were in excellent condition.
Would have given a zero if possible
This was the worst course I have ever played. Even for the discounted price I would not recommend this course. There is no grass in the fairway, it seems to be replaced by sand which is all over the course. Not replacing the divot sand but bunker sand. Maybe this course was good a long time ago but it seems they've decided not to spend any money to upkeep the course. This is the cheapest course I've played since moving to Central Florida and I guess you get what you pay for, that being said I'll never be back to this one.
Nice layout But bad condition
Have played this course many years but at this time it seems to be be in not so good shape. Fairways are really rough and the greens need a lot of work. Will try the course again in a few months.
This course needs a lot of work!
There was no grass in any of the fairways. The greens were in terrible shape, some of them looked like you were hitting into sand traps. This use to be our groups favorite course, it's a shame that they have let it get in this shape.
Every Fairway is full of sand
No irrigation, golf T's are horrible sometimes you hitting the ball above your feet Fairways are full of sand hardly any green grass and the sand I'm talking about are not bunkers.
Goat Field
We got a deal from Deal Caddy and thought from the write up this was going to be a country club course. Little did we know it was a goat pasture with no grass in the fairways. Weeds and sand!! On the good hand NO WATER..not one lake or pond. Found some water by a sprinkler head.
Made tee times for friends from New Jersey with us from Ohio expecting to take them to a lovely course.
Fortunately we are a fun group and got LOTS of LAUGHS but for a serious golfer would not recommend this course. Poor shape and condition.
A big disappointment and definitely would not pay full price to golf this course. Need to pay the water bill and get some grass please!!!!
So bad...
Worst conditions I've ever played under...greens were worse than the fairways I'm accustomed to playing...5 stars for pace of play because there was no one else in this course...Buyer beware!

Don't waste your money!
They say a day on the golf course is a good day. Try this course and you will see that is not really true. This place is terrible! If you like golfing on sand dunes with a occasional weed, this may be your place. Some of the tee boxes were all sand. Fairways are in sad shape and that is a compliment. went into the club house on the turn to get a beer. I drink Michelob Ultra and when I saw a sign that said Ultra bottles were $1 off the regular price of cans. When I asked the girl at the counter for one she said they did not have any. When I asked if she was going to honor that price with a can, she said NO. I find it hard to believe they would allow bottle beer on the course. I will not ever again be disappointed with this place and now you know why.

8 golfers play a different course each week, we've done this for several years Marion oak wins hands down as the poorest we've ever been on. Greens ok at best, fairways like playing on the beach. RB
Sorry for their issues
Staff was extremely cordial and helpful. Other than greens, course was in deplorable condition, apparent issues with sprinkling system. Pace of play was severely hindered by 2 Foursomes just ahead of us. No reason this course should have taken over 3 1/2 hours to play but was 4 1/2 hours, waiting, waiting, waiting. We are sorry for what ever the issues are that prevent them from having a better course condition, but pace of play needs to be enforced.

fairways were very rough and weedy. lots of elevation changes and scenic bit sand traps need more sand
Be Forwarned
Was passing through the area so booked online as a single. First, the positive, I played in 2 hours and 20 minutes. That's it for the positive.
There is no grass anywhere on the golf course except on the greens, and they are very small. They are also inconsistent from the front nine to the back, so difficult to judge.
The rest of the track (tees, fairways and rough) is just weeds and bare ground. There is not a single water feature anywhere on the course, which is unusual for Florida.
Lastly (honest), if you have any kind of back issue, driving a cart on this course will wreck your back. The cart paths and even the fairways are very bumpy.
Absolute craphole
We should have known in the driveway we were in trouble . maybe 5 cars there on a great Sunday afternoon. The Women behind the desk was very very nice ..the kitchen was closed ..and no draft beer .the $35 rate for the course caught us off-gaurd for this course ..the carts were nice ..that was the best part of this course ..get to #1 tee box and there it was not mowed grass in patches and a ton of weeds ..there was no fairways ..the grass is nowhere to be found .the greens were uncut and superslow but decent. There was no water on the course the bathrooms were locked so my wife couldn't use them ...this use to be a nice course not anymore ....I really hope they close it and someone else takes over and will do the right thing with it....
AWFUL!!!!
This course is awful-don't waste your time or money. we played it for 12 bux which I thought was good deal but this place is not a deal for 12 cents....weedy-holes all over place including tee boxes-the course is just in awful shape there is no other way to put it.

No grass on tee boxes greens terrible fairways full of holes and weeds. Just awful. ...I wouldn't go back here if it was free go to lake diamond for 2 bux more

This course is slipping fast, not giving Warrior Golf a lot of credibility

Really Rough
First time playing. Course is a field that was being mowed while we played. Clumps of grass everywhere. Price too much for what you get. If they are not going to fix it, close it. Don't waste your time or money. Better courses elsewhere.
This couse needs help!
Marion Oaks is well laid out with beautifully maintained greens; however the tee boxes and fairways are in very poor condition. Crabgrass, clover and bare areas permeate the fairways. My nieces son and I played and since it was only his 3rd or 4th time playing we enjoyed the day for only $24.10.
