Huntington Golf Club

This golf is in extreme need of repair. Tee Boxes are in very poor shape, unlevel and no grass, very difficult to get a proper stance on. Fairways are in poor condition, mostly weeds, very little grass. Putting greens are in such bad condition it is impossible to make a proper putt. I will not play this course again unless it gets reconditioned. This course needs to be shut down until it gets repaired.

Found this course on golf now and I would recommend playing this course. It is not in the best shape but for the price it is well worth checking out.

Good layout, greens in good shape. Fairways need more water, clubhouse is sparse.

although this course is not in very good shape i would say not to stay away but give them a chance to keep working on the course and go play it.the fairways are sparse ,but as most players move ball in fairway, you can find a good spot to hit from and the greens are receptive.the greens need to fill in and a tad slow, they roll pretty good.this helped in chipping because it made me concentrate on chipping and striking the ball correctly.i will return because the pace of play is great and staff friendly and considerate.the price is is great if you want to go out and work on playing because a little attention on playing always helps in making good shots.they have worked hard on clearing out the wooded areas so this course is not as tight as when first opened and they are trying to get this back to a fun shorter course to play.alot will say this is terrible to play but i enjoyed working on my focus and hope people give them a chance and work on their games.

They are making an effort to improve that course after letting it deteriorate over the summer. It is playable..between poor and fair. The fairways and greens were cut. If they keep working on it..it may reach fair soon. Between Marion Oaks and Huntington, both owned by the same Warrior Golf..they have lost many regulars. On the one hand..they need players for revenue..but need more revenue to make the course better... classic rock and a hard place!

The lady who was attending the counter was very, very nice. Other than that it was a joke. Played two holes, laughed at the condition and left.

Found this on GolfNow.com for $26.00 for two people and a cart. Sounded like a great deal so what the heck.

We were the only car in the parking lot at 0730 Monday morning. Checked in with counter person who was quite friendly.
Went to first tee and hit it in the fairway...or whatever they call that thing in the middle. Terrible fairways. Told myself that I could like with the fairways and hoped for good greens. WRONG AGAIN. Absolutely terrible greens except for 18 (fair at best)
Would I play this course again...NO...I have played golf all over Florida from muni's to TPC's. Never have I played on a course of this caliber.

On the positive side, the course layout was exceptional. Rolling hills and lots of blind shots with double dog legs. NEEDS MONEY to get fixed.

course in poor condition, weeds and sand. where is the grass ?

The fairways are starting to come along but very bumpy and lots of weeds mixed in in fairways. Greens and tee areas are in very good condition for this time of year. Lots of hills. Interesting course to play.

Played with my wife had a good time , neither of us are good golfers but we have fun. Not much ruff and wide fairways. Fairways are a kittle bare, greens run from ok to very good.

For what i paid i was satisfied.People were nice and merchandise was fair priced.Greens were small but they were receptive to good shots and they rolled well. Also the greens were average to good.T boxes ok.Fairways were not in good shape but if you moved the ball around you could find a place to hit from. The layout of the course was good,no water holes, and i felt good playing there. Was not busy and the few people we came upon let us play thru.It was a good place to go play if you wanted to play a big course but if you expected a beautiful layout you would be very disappointed.I will play there again.

No one there on Monday noon on beautiful day, fast round, greens ok but very slow, weeds for fairway and tee boxes. Layout ok and we liked no houses along tree lined fairways.

Needs a lot work nothing to hit off in fairways greens ok

Course is in good condition, the layout is great I will be returning soon

Greens have good grass but some bad spots.
Fairways not overseeded and many bad/dead spots. Play winter rules.
Rough non existent.

the greens were the only decent part of the golf course but they needed to be rejuvenated too. The fairways were almost non-existent.....rough and bumpy with not much grass. But it was a good layout.

This course is in very poor condition. Fairways are patchy and bumpy, greens are very bad with patches of dirt and sand and bumpy.

Through out the entire course it has some nice elevation changes that makes the course enjoyable.

Horrible shape. Awful greens. Course needs lots of work.
