Not looking good
Palm Cove was far below how the course used to look. Tee boxes were in bad shape, the ruff was over grown the fairways were ok but has some weeds growing in and the greens were in bad shape! All of the greens had large sections that were just sand, and the thing that bothered me the most was I called before booking a tee time and the guy in the pro shop said the course was in good shape so I drove 40 miles to the course to be extremely disappointed! I won’t be back if it remains in that condition.
Interesting design.
Not a long course. But tough and tight design. Strategic play a must to score.
Front 9 Easy Back 9 very complex
Some tee boxes on the back 9 were hard to find and a
couple had forced carries over heavy foliage where the
landing area wasn't very visible.
A round of golf
Course was good. Club house was closed could not enjoy a cold beverage on a hot humid afternoon.
Staff
The staff was friendly. The course well kept.
Greens were in good shape.
Fun times
Had a blast. Past 2x we've been there the clubhouse was closed so unable to get drinks or snacks. With the 'no outside cooler rule' it def made for a long hot and dry round. Other than that the course was extremely fun. Very well paced. Staff is on point with how welcoming and catering they are.
Has good bones
Looks like this course was very nice at one point. Not being kept up at all from what I could observe from rough that is not being mowed to fairways and tee boxes that are not being watered to greens that are extremely slow. Such a shame as it could be a really nice course.
Great for the money
Fairways inconsistent as well as the greens. Overall though very good and will return.
Really a 4.5
My wife and I returned after not playing here for several months and found the course to be in great shape. Specifically we found the greens to be in better condition than the last time here, however the greens have a "patchy" color but that in no way affected one's putting as they were consistent and true. Fun and at times challenging course and we will be back.
Jagged
Overall it’s a beautiful florida course with nature, bunnies, beautiful views with a fountain. But the lawn care was a 0/10 very inconsistent you could see where they just left huge chunky lines in the middle of the fairway. There wasn’t much communication on check in rules and I was interrupted right in the middle of my first tee shot by an employee due to his verbal mistake. All in all I wouldn’t mind coming back if someone else scheduled the tee time but I don’t ever plan on making a reservation again. Thank you.
Fairways were not all cut as expected. The greens were not all running similar. Great staff and challenging golf
