Crane Lakes Golf & Country Club

This course is in great condition and the Greens are fast and true.

I have played this course several times this year and it has consistently been in excellent condition. The fairways are well grassed, the bunkers large and well groomed, and the greens are smooth and fast.

Don't let the course length (it's relatively short) fool you. There are only two par 5 holes and eight par 3 holes. There is a nice variety of hole layouts with a different look for each hole. The challenges are definitely there - from water carries to tough rough to deep bunkers to undulating greens. It definitely helps to have played the course a few times to become familiar with where you want to hit the tee shot where to land the ball on the greens. Though the rough is not deep it serves as true penalty rough and it can be a challenge to get a consistent recovery shot, so it truly encourages you to keep hitting the fairway.

First when I book it , it seem a small course but when you play it , it is another story , not an easy course ,  lot of water to get on the green . Fast green, nice fairway. I had it for my money .

If you look at the par 66 and short yardages of this course and write it off as not worthy of your time and money, you’ll be missing a unique gem. Large, undulating greens rolling a smooth 10-11. Beautifully manicured fairways despite heavy rains in the past few weeks. This course may not be very demanding off the tee, but the premium placed on short-mid irons provides plenty of challenge and enjoyment. Easily worth twice the amount we paid to play. Will be back.

This course is very challenging as most of the holes have water. Today the greens had been sanded but were still fairly fast and in good condition. Staff was very friendly and the course is one of the most well manicured in the area.

The course is in great shape and the greens are rolling! Always enjoy playing here...!

A shot makers course with several forced carries over water. Very challenging, length is not at a premium but is needed on several holes. Very unique layout with 8 par threes, 8 par fours and and only 2 par five holes and a par of 66. Don’t let the par fool you it is quite a challenge to play. Not much of a clubhouse but I would play it again.

Monday the best greens in Volusia county Friday drilled, sanded , no notification, boo.

I could not believe how great of shape the course is in. From tee boxes to fairways to greens, all were in outstanding condition. No need to roll your ball on the fairways, they were perfect. The greens were the best I have seen in all of Central Florida this summer. It was so nice, we didn't even care it was only a par 66, so much so we came back the following Saturday. I'm not kidding, it was that nice, check it out!!

Played with my 12 year Alf and his friend had a great time. Fun lay out manicured greens.

Awesome Conditions, challenging layout if you’re a sprayer like me. Greens in close to perfect shape and rolling about 10. Bring your accuracy or bring a lot of balls ( or snag all the ones I lost). Be back soon, worth the drive from Lake Mary..

Play here often and the conditions are one of the best around. It is not as easy as it looks.

The Crane Lakes golf course always seems to be in excellent condition. This round was no exception. Play was fairly light, so we completed the round in under 3 1/2 hours.

Tees, fairways and greens were all in excellent shape. Even though there had been rain showers most afternoons for the past week, even the rough was neatly trimmed.

I've played this course perhaps a dozen times in the last four months, and the pro shop personnel and cart man have always been courteous and helpful.

Overall this was a very pleasant experience.

Par 66. Lots of big carries over water. Select you tees appropriately. Tees, fairways, and greens in good shape.

No wind, great greens, good pace = the best round ever.

Played here many times and have never been dissatisfied with the conditions.

Best Golf Course I have played as for greens. Water on most holes, but fair. A foursome had a dead cart on #2 and let our 3 some play thru. Never waited again.
