The Florida Club

For the 1st time in 30 years I observed a no-show being charged. We had a group of 8 with 1 person getting sick, late the night before. When we expressed our displeasure with the manager for the charge, we were lectured with a math class on how no-shows cost the industry $750K. Also since he had "C" twice, and it was "no big deal", even if that was the reason the charge stands.

The matter could have been handled in a conciliatory manner, but the manager seemed to pleasure from the fact he charged us.

None of this group, and all we know, will go back after supporting The Florida Club dozens of times thru the epidemic.

This is my 2nd post as the last one was censored. Let's see if this makes it. I'll keep a copy of this one.

I play this course as often as I can. The layout, condition and challenge is terrific. The greens are in fine shape with good speed. Putting well here requires focus as contours are generous. Enjoy this track!

Overall an excellent course and a great layout. Pace of play was kinda slow towards the end and the staff was pretty nice overall. Would play again for sure in the future

The course was fun and in pretty good shape. we played in 4:09 despite having to wait a number of times on the tees. Greens were quick and tricky, Only real complaint was cart paths need some help. I would definitely come back.

One of the best courses I’ve played in Florida. It can be either very easy or very very tough, based on how they setup the golf course. And to me, that’s what makes a great golf course compared to a so so one

The course is in great shape and everyone working there is friendly. I played a PGA course the next day and immediately regretted not going back to the Florida Club! Better pace of play, better amenities, better conditions of the courses… challenging but great fun and incredibly beautiful. Will definitely be back.

Golf course is in great condition and pace of play was good. Staff was very friendly and performed their tasks well. I will return.

The Florida Club was amazing! The environment and course layout was awesome! I was able to use driver, hybrid, long irons short irons on the course! The greens are in great shape! The pace of play was excellent and the staff was friendly! It started with Cliff welcoming me at the clubhouse as a first time player at the course to the pleasing personality of Samantha providing us with a cart! I will definitely be there in a weekly basis.

Course is in great shape! Busy day so two groups waiting at every hole!

This is a beautiful mature course.that certainly challenges you.

Play here 5 or 6 times a year and always enjoy it. Area has had 3 straight days of heavy rain that washed out the bunkers , but rest of course was in great shape. Fairways and greens were as good as you will find anywhere. Staff inside and outside friendly and helpful.

It’s a challenging but fair golf course.
