About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Awesome shape!
Course is in great condition, greens were excellent and rolled true. Staff was very friendly and starter was very informative since I hadn't played here in awhile.
Hard greens and watering while playing
The greens are rock hard, they were running the greens sprinklers before we arrived at every green on the front 9 even though it was a mild day and no members playing. It appears to be done on purpose because we had the hot deal...

Got a hot deal. So the value was there. Fairways were just ok. Sand traps were in good condition and greens were hard and didn’t hold anything.
RANGER ISSUES
BOUGHT A 2:04 TEE TIME. WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT ON TIME, BUT LOCAL MEMBER JUMPED IN FRONT OF US AS THEY CAN DO HERE. SO TEED OFF AT 2:11PM. RANGER ON 9TH HOLE TOLD US AT 6:30PM OUR DAY WAS OVER. AT THAT POINT WE HAD PLAYED 1HR 50 MINUTES AND NO WAY WE WOULD TAKE 2.5 HOURS TO PLAY BACK 9. HE CONTINUED TO COME AROUND AND INFORM US WE WERE TO BE OFF THE COURSE AT 6:30PM. I WAS SHOCKED AT HIS RUDENESS AND UNPROFESSIONALISM. I PAID FOR 18 AND WOULD PLAY 18 AND WOULD CERTAINLY BE DONE WELL BE FORE SUNSET. HE CONTINUED YOU WILL BE OFF THE COURSE AT 6:30PM. WE FINISHED AT 6:10PM AND THERE WERE SEVERAL GROUPS BEHIND US. SUNSET WAS AT 6:50PM. NOT GOING BACK HERE.
Don’t get there too early.
My friend and I arrived about one hour prior to our tee time. As somebody who works as a starter at a golf club, we always appreciate when members and guests show up early. Well, not at the Renaissance club. Sorry, you will have to wait for a golf cart. Yes we have them available, but you can’t load your gear up until 30 minutes before your tee time because we don’t want you sneaking out on the course? So stand around with your equipment until then.
It's overall good but...
GolfNow has this course overrated for sure. I was expecting a lot more @4.2 rated Golf Club. Underwhelming to say the least. I've played some Amazing 4.2 rated courses this is a 4.0 @best
Love the Layout
The course layout is very good and a decent challenge off the numerous tees to suit all abilities. Some of the greens were showing signs of disease some quite considerably.
This is my favorite course in the area !!
I played at 1 pm :..I guess it was too hot for people to play ..
I was around the course in 3 hours !!
I love playing this course it’s always kept up so well .
The greens were great ,bunkers full of sand ,
Tee boxes and fairways in really nice shape…
I wish I could afford to be a member.

Good course, great staff
The course is well kept and provides a moderate challenge. Mid way through the front and back nines are great ice and watering stations (FL in summer…). No golf range to warm up though.
