About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Semi private
Always challenging but easy on few holes. Few bare spots here and there. Green running nicely. No range. Excellence value.
Very good value for a fun layout.
Front 9 is easier and more in front of you. Back 9 makes you earn it. When you play towards the back tees - there are some poorly positioned trees that interfere with Tee shots.

The course is great, challenging and fun. The staff very very nice and friendly. I will play the again next time I’m in Tampa.
No driving range and rude starter
$75 for a course with NO driving range and someone who looked like they worked there extremely rude and had a bag of pot on him. Hadn’t played CR in 20 years and thought I’d give it another shot. I play every week out of Tampa (Fox Hollow, Plantation Palms, Hernando Oaks) and CR definitely not worth the drive.

The staff and course was fabulous and can’t wait to get out there and play again.
Renaissance golf
Great day of golf … greens rolling true & fast … great layout .. very nice clubhouse … starter was a great guy , rangers around for pace ? Not needed .
No range but nice track
No driving range which is somewhat detracting, however, very enjoyable round. Quiet away from street/city noise made it more serene. Great condition of tee boxes, fairways, greens - just a little on the dryer side. Greens were firm from the cold, rolled true. Good course!
Nice course
Only thing I would change is that we were a 2 and group in front of was a 2 and both groups were at tee area I ask starter if we were going together which I suggest because group in front of them was a 4 and group behind was a 3 but said no most people prefer that but pace of play would be better with a 4,3,4 groups the group in front of us never ask us to join even know we waited most tees that being said we played in less then 4 1/2 hrs so all good I would rate 4.2 good course I would return
Course is looking Great!
Greens were lightly sanded but rolled great and had some good speed. There’s overseed out so the course looks great too. The green are maybe a touch firm but not punishing firm.

I highly recommend this course to all golfers at any leavel.
Great course challenging greens
Fantastic course, it was in wonderful shape, well maintained. We’ll definitely be back to play. Staff was a little uptight, but not like we had to deal with them much. Only other complaint would be there was no beer cart.
