The Club Renaissance

Had a tee time booked for 2:20pm. Arrived at 1:30pm as I wanted to hit some balls before my round. Guess what? No driving range at this facility.

We were told upon arrival that they were out of carts. As it was only 1:30 at the time we figured this not to be a problem. They knocked off about $5 because of this.

We did not get carts until after 3PM!!!!! I think we teed off at 3:10pm. Who the heII manages this course? We rushed the front 9 and when making the turn, the Ranger asked how we were doing. Told him we were rushing to get 18 in. It was 5pm at this point and he said to be back by 6pm. I said we would never be done by 6pm. He demanded we be back by 6pm or they would come out on the course and bring us back in. I welcomed him to try. At 6pm, we played the rest of our holes looking over our shoulders waiting for the ranger to show up. We played till dark and finished 16 holes.

What a disappointment. I was raving about this course after my first time playing and for this to happen when I bring friends to try it out was unacceptable! To be treated the way we were at the turn by this ranger was unacceptable! This round should have been refunded/rain check as this was no fault of ours.

I like the course but undecided if I will return.

Enjoyed our round at Club Renaissance. I would rate the course conditions as "good." For the price we paid, $62, it was actually a very good value compared to many other courses.

Some of these tee boxes are actually dirt. The greens are brown and the grass in the fairways it's either thin, or crab grass like blotches or non existent.

Excellent condition, excellent customer service a very enjoyable day!
