About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Best course I’ve been to
Beautiful course layout. Well manicured. Awesome greens. Cart paths impeccable. Staff friendly and professional. This course is great for novices and masters. I can’t recommend this enough.
Wow nice course we really like it.
The back nine we found it more challenging. We were able to play within 3h15. Amenities are awesome and clean.
Wide open, beautiful conditions
Liked the wide-open layout, plenty of water, great conditions. Seemed to have the course to ourselves to boot. Gorgeous country club in golf cart friendly community. Quick smooth greens. Best course of the trip!
Good value
This track must have been a looker when it first opened. Not sure when that was but it’s a bit tired now. Still, greens are good, sand is so-so, and fairways are good enough.
It should be said we played it just after fairways were top seeded and 3 holes were wet as sprinklers ran overnight.
The cart paths spotted some large cracks so just go slow.
A very good lay out.

Members
Be carefully if you are a single and get paired with members. They do not like outsiders and pushed me away and made me play as a single.
Nice Course - Slow Play
Enjoyed playing this course for the first time. Most of the course is open and not as penal if you hit an errant shot to the right or left. Fair amount of water, but most of it is off to the side with only a couple of forced carries. Not a fan of the 200 yard par 3 hole, but it's just one hole (we were hitting straight into the wind and I had to go driver!). Pace of play was very slow, so difficult to get into any kind of playing rhythm.

I played here many times and of course is generally always in good shape.
Good condition
Smooth, quickish greens. Great pace of play in afternoon.
It's playable
I am a fan of the course but the new people working the proshop, they need some help with their people skills.
Great course with wonderful weather
Club Renaissance provided a great golf experience Monday, teeing off late Monday on the back nine. The course was in perfect condition as was the weather. We had to let 1 fast group of 2 through (we were a two-some), otherwise our normally somewhat slow pace of play was fine and we didn't feel rushed!
Bar & food afterwards was great even though they had minimal bar food with Monday being the day the dining section is closed!
