About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Great time to play the course is immediately after the Club Membership shotgun. The pace of play was excellent as there was no one in front of us or no one behind us. The staff as usual is very friendly, personable, Kudos to Kathy in at the fron desk she is the best.. The price was fantastic for this time of year
Nice Return round
First time playing since right before it closed in June of this year. They have done an excellent job with the fairways and greeens are in great shape and fast. As always the golf staff from starter to golf shop counter attendants are all very pleasant, welcoming and personable. Have been playing here for going on 15 years and will continue to play.
Great course for the value
We play this course every time we come down to Florida with a group of eight guys.
This year the course fairways and greens were upgraded and were very good. The course was in great shape and pace of play was excellent.
We all love this course and will be back to play again.
Needs a ton of work
The fairways are brown and dried out of course they won't tell you this, they plan on closing the course to fix all the fairways.
Poor bang for the buck
With the many options of golf courses in FL, I would choose to play somewhere else. $50 tee time that was supposed to come with free range balls. I show up to the course and they don't even have a range.
No fairways for a few months
They have killed all the fairways because they are receding everything so essentially the course is going to be close for a few months so checking to see when it’s going to be playable

Thanks for the 5 star review! We hope you come back and enjoy our new fairways in the Fall. We plan to re-open early September but check back with the pro-shop closer to and will have some marketing specials to promote it closer to.
Killing the fairways
They were over a week into redoing their fairways. They are still in the middle of it, I can't believe they are still taking golfer's out. All the fairways were completely dead and flat, and will continue to be that way till at least into late June. Shame on golf now for having this course in the que at this time.
Good layouts course
This will be back to a top class course when they redo the fairways in the summer. We still enjoyed the course

Close It Now!!!!
How can you charge full price to play a course that is set to close for the summer starting in June and have fairways that all the grass hias been killed off in preparation for a complete fairway overhaul this summer. Was really surprised as it was just two weeks ago we played and we come back two weeks later and they have killed all the grass in the fairways and still are charging us full price. Very disapointed in the way they handled this. Have been a long time player of this golf course and was extremely disappointed. You got no reward for keeping the ball in the fairway as you were better in the rough as there was grass there.

Very disappointed
People at the course were nice but no beer cart no coolers to bring in your cart they gave us a plastic bag. No driving range and only a very small putting green that you couldn't even chip on. Course layout was below average it had very small greens with not much challenge to them

Downhill
As a member of the Clublink family, this was always the best conditioned of Florida West courses. Not any more. The fairways are dry, brown, rundown. You can see the lack of attention if you've played there before as our group had. It's about an hour drive for me and until I hear there's been improvement I won't be back.
