The Club Renaissance
About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Nice New Years Outing
Course was nice and conditions were good. No waiting and pace was great.
Not bad
First time playing this course and we felt rushed. No one ahead of us and the group behind us was a hole behind, but the ranger felt he had to tell us to play faster. I did not enjoy playing at that speed.
Great course
I love this golf course. Played the back first due to Mondays everyone goes off the back. In my opinion they need to swap the 9’s. Number 9 is a great finishing hole and finishes at the club house
At the tipping point
Good greens, residential layout, fairly open front nine, shorter tight back nine. Course needs investment in fairways and peripheral areas - will it materialize?
Greens rolling nice
Played horrible but not b/c of course conditions. the greens ran fast and true and for some reason I couldn’t figure pace . Tee boxes need some love. Sand traps were in good condition and fairways seemed good. The unfortunately I didn’t see too many.
Slow and poorly maintained
Played the front nine pretty quickly but when we turned to number 10 there were 3 foursomes on the tee so we decided to head back to the club house to see if we could get a rain check for the back nine since the pace was too slow for us to even attempt to finish. They told us no so we left. The reality is I’ll never go back but def would have if their staff would have been understanding. Course conditions were mediocre at best.. Greens were decent though.
Staff is rude
So, I decided to play Club Renaissance for the first time ever. When I arrived at the course, the pro shop staff was nice. I signed in and told the cashier I was walking and I didn't need a cart. They said okay. I asked where the starter was, and was told at the 1st tee. I walked over to the 1st tee, and NO starter there. I was a single and wasn't sure what to do. Soon after, a threesome rolled up, and I ended up joining them. When coming off one of the holes, a staff member yelled at me that I can't walk the course. I informed him that I never hold anyone up, and actually was waiting for the group ahead of us on every shot. He got very angry and started walking toward me like he was looking for a fight. He loudly told me that walking was not allowed at that course. NOWHERE did I see that I couldn't walk. Also, the pro shop staff new I intended to walk, and didn't say a word. So, I was thrown off the course and not given a full refund. I'm an average golfer, and I enjoy the EXERCISE as much as the golf. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK THERE ANYTIME SOON.
WOW! thanks for the heads up i wont be going to this place any time soon
Above Average
Course was in pretty good shape. A couple of the fairways were in bad shape with one being cart path only. I played the second to back tees and they were not great. Greens were in good shape. A couple of tees forced you to hit a cut off the tee with a tree being 20-yards off the tee. Then the last hole you must hit a draw since there was a tree 30-yards off the tee to the left.
Good course conditions
The overall course conditions were good. I haven’t played the course in over a year and I thought the course played as it did a year ago. I will return.
Home again home again !!!!!!
This was he third time playing the course in less than 3 weeks. It was an absolute joy. Got there early and got out early. Front desk personnel are absolutely wonderful and the starter and other guys working the cart barn are friendly and fantastic. Will definitely be back soon..
Club Renaissance
My son and I enjoyed your course. We were a twosome, played in 3 1/2 hours but could have been even shorter as we enjoyed the views, course and our time together
Thanks
Bert
Dont worry about the group BEHIND you keep up with the people in FRONT of you this is why golf takes 5-6 hours
