The Club Renaissance

After our round of golf, we went to the nasty, filthy and worn out bar area. I excused myself from my table to go to the men’s room. Some big, tall, goofy looking guy was at the next urinal and kept trying to take a look at what I was packing. When I went back to the table and pointed out the guy to my buddies, they told me he was the manager!

I guess this is normal behavior for this weirdo.

Course is in SOLID SHAPE. No complaints from me and I do recommend playing here.

Very impressed with all facets of the course and clubhouse! Recommend to those looking for price, course, condition balance.

Course is in SOLID shape for it being summer. Greens very good and conditions beat expectations as usual. They are doing a good job here. Give it a try!!

Parking is difficult, staff are very unfriendly and don’t have any knowledge about the course. After our round of golf, we had a bite and a drink in their restaurant area and it is absolutely filthy.

The course is in great shape and the staff was super friendly

From the moment you arrive you will see how neglected this place is. Clublink has a bad reputation as a cheap company and they have clearly earned it. On one of the greens, you can see a home with an anti Clublink flag displayed.

Whomever says this course is, in excellent shape, needs to rethink what excellent is! It's in good shape. The greens need improvement, still lots of bare areas. That being said, it's not quite worth what they are charging, especially in the summer.

Always manicured. The greens are perfect. You can lose your ball In the rough due to the type of grass. But the course is always immaculate. If you have an average game, play from the blue. But if your game is above average or or better play from the burgundy.

It's not too hard to get a tee time, but if you're up for an early out, it's a great deal. The other tee times are reserved for the members.

Course overall was good. We were told there was no tee time before us, but the starter allowed three members to tee off before us stating, “We’ll, they’re members….. They don’t need a tee time”. A bit off putting actually whether it is true or not. I’d still play there again, but I will ask if any “members” have the right of way regardless of the tee time I secure.

For those on here saying this course is in excellent shape, you need to get off public courses a few times. It's in good shape but far from excellent. The greens are soft enough to land. For public course it's good. The track is nice enough.

Conditions were great, fairways and rough were lush. No problem greens—all great shape. Played in afternoon Congress got a bit grainy but I can’t complain. Had course to ourselves. Staff super friendly. Water, ice and bathrooms readily available all over course.

They don’t have a driving range onsite, my only beef, and it’s a minor one.

Well worth the fee paid and strongly recommend.

I used to be an active member but moved to another location in SW Florida. Since this course is seriously excellent all the way around, this is still my go to golf course even though I now live 30 miles away. I highly recommend Reneissance to any one who wants a challenging course. The staff are exceptionally professional.

This is well worth the ~$50 green fees. Greens play very fast. Fairways in excellent shape. They don’t just have water but also ice! Great to have in Florida during summer. Ball washers on most if not every hole. They are AERATING NEXT WEEK so hurry up and play now

Course was in great shape. Greens rolled true and quick, fairways were in great shape, tee boxes were level. Staff were very friendly. Pace was great and we finished our round in under 4 hours.

We played the course recently. Based on reviews here on GolfNow, someone stated the course was in “Great” shape. They mentioned the fairways were plush, greens were excellent, etc, etc. Here is the true assessment: fairways were not plush. As a matter of fact, 90% of the time you can to find grass to place your ball in the fairway or hit of the solid ground. The greens were hard as a rock and would hold shots. As for the pace of play, it wasn’t slow but could have been a little better. Also, some of the fairways were being repaired. After stating the facts above, we still had to pay $80. So to all that read this, be aware of over exaggerated positive comments.
