Madison Green Country Club
About
With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.
Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.
One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.
A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

Golfer Reviews
Here's a real review
So, there are a lot of reviews of Madison Green right now that are brutal and I almost cancelled my reservation. But this has been a go to course for me when I come down from the Northeast in February for a week of golf. First, the pro shop staff are very nice and helpful. Second, there are 5 greens that are problematic right now - 1, 6, and 12 are in bad shape and 5 and 11 are bad but not as bad. The rest are perfectly fine. Fairway grass is generally good, with the rough a bit burned out (worse in some places than others). It does appear they are trying to rehabilitate the bad greens. But for $75 in peak season it's a great deal. And it is easy to get a tee time. Other courses in the area are $140 and they are not worth that amount. So I still feel MG is worth the play.
Don't bother
Course is in the worst shape ever, greens are unputtable. . For some reason they put the whole on the worst section of the green. Fairways are absolutely horrible, discourse needs to be triaged. Cannot believe they are still charging $80
Should be closed
Conditions were really unacceptable. Greens were dead, fairways were spotty at best. As there was no notice on the website of these terrible conditions we really think we were swindled.
Madison Green Course
I stopped playing here to 2 years ago. I can see the work that has been put into the course but some of the greens were unplayable. I had birdie puts on 3 holes and the path to the cup had such divots and repairs it was ridiculous.
They clearly have been working on the greens because so many are way better than when I use to play here. They should be giving a discount when the conditions are so unplayable on some holes. I will try them again maybe in May hoping the repairs have yielded better greens. Some greens were in very good shape compared to what they use to be. The people were wonderful, the course has a nice layout so I don't like giving a negative review, but it's the truth.
Great course and fun round
Overall we enjoyed the course, layout, and pace of play. Played a 4:10 round. We did have the Marshall approach us on 16 and ask us to speed up. We fell behind the group in front because the screen in the cart warned of a blind tee and showed carts in our fairway. We were up on the group in front of us for most of the round, not waiting long but keeping pace. Always messes up a game when you try to go faster for not reason. We ended up back behind the group in front on 17 and had to wait on 18. Annoying to have the Marshall make something for nothing.
Overall fun and I would come back!!
Lac
Nice to play, awaiting for greens to be better. I know that you are trying very hard. Thanks.
Horrible!!
The worse course I’ve ever played!! It should $10 for 18 holes and that might be too much!!
Not worth it
OMG this was horrible. I enjoyed playing here several years ago. Course was in deplorable shape. We only played 9 holes before a log jam. But that was plenty. It really made me sad. I would not recommend playing here unless it gets rebuilt.
I would like to get my $133.00 refunded Or credited.
Fallen Glory
This course has a great layout. Lots of water and traps. Narrow fairways and lots of trees. Unfortunately it is in a very sad state of repair. Many of the greens are unplayable as are some of the fairways. You can see what a great course it has been, but that was clearly a long time ago.
Horrible Condition
This course should not be open for play..we only played 9 holes as 10 th hole had fairway plugged with plugs littering hole .
Had enough of huge neglect
Greens keeper either has no clue or management doesn't care..stay away
why destroy this course? you can't putt this course!
Wow, Who decided that this course would be on Golf NOW or Golf Pass?
Worst course I have played in 15 years. Save your time and spend a bit more money.
GREENS were garbage and no indication ahead of time. I suggest all feedback to the owner to get it fixed or lose all business! Such a bummer.
