Madison Green Country Club

Let’s start with the good news; The layout of Madison Green is really really good. Except for perhaps #1 The course layout, depending on what do you play, is absolutely fantastic.

I played this course a lot 5-10 years ago, it was in pristine condition. I have not played it for the last four years and it was a huge disappointment to see how this course has deteriorated. All areas of the course (Including the waste areas) were In a really bad shape.

When I booked my round, I was a little bit surprised to see that it was one of the cheaper alternatives on golfnow.com. Unfortunately, the price was too much for this lovely course in its current condition.

First time going to a round solo but was teamed up with 3 lovely gents from Nebraska. The weather was great, conditions were awesome, greens were rolling well and the staff was fantastic.

Played one time prior and was warned that this is a difficult golf course. It hasn’t softened with age . Trouble lurks everywhere(plenty of water and sand). Conditions were very good all around. Pace of play was a little slow due to difficulty of the course(don’t be ashamed to move up a box). All staff was exceptional. Definitely will return after the ego heals.

Beautiful course, requires some skill, but very playable.

Just average at best. Wanted to play they had openings. Live on The 500 Club course now on hats exceptional. For this price.

The course was in nice shape. Greens were nice, but firm. Most holes are nice. There are a few tricked up ones. GPS does not work other than to tell you where not to be. Sometimes it would tell you to return to the cart path while you were on it. We had to back the cart up while we were on the cart path a couple times, because it wouldn’t allow us to go forward. Made for an annoying round. Also bought beer in the clubhouse for the course, and weren’t told they add a 20% tip. Didn’t have my glasses on, and tipped again, so we ended up tipping almost $10 on a $25 tab. Wonder how often that happens.

You really need a bathroom on the back 9! !!!Tee time delayed by late arrivals by the groups ahead. They were allowed to "just go ahead" of other groups who were there on time>

The last few years i was very disapointhing about this course 10 years ago it was in great shape ,we finally see that they putt some money on the course

Only thing to do left is to work on the rought there is nothing else than burn grass and shorther than the fairway

Madison Greens is a cool course with a fun and challenging layout. My only issue was the condition of the greens, they were not in good shape. I missed more than a few putts because of the bumpiness.

Good course, cold and wet the day we played. Pace of play was not good, very slow.

Bring a lot of balls because water is in play on many holes. This is one of those courses where you can make it much harder playing from the blue tees if you want a challenge. This was our final round leaving a golf trip and we just sort of ran out of steam but overall it was a great place. Greens were the only thing that left a little more to be desired but nothing too bad (maybe punched recently?). I'd recommend this spot for sure!

Greens, tee boxes, fairways and bunkers well below average for the price. Not worth it

Course condition has improved immensely from a few months ago.
