With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.

Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.

One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.

A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

Great course

Finished 18 holes in 4 hours. Golfed with a great bunch of individuals! None of us from this area, had a great time! Marshalls were out & cart person was out with well stocked cart. Will play again.

Very Friendly Easygoing Staff

The cart guy lent us a golf bag (we had flown with only one bag but lots of clubs mixed together). Starter was very nice and even got us out early.

Considering this is the beginning of season in Florida, the fairways were sparse when it comes to conditions. Was surprise that there was so little. Some green were excellent but others were barely average. The fairway bunkers were rock solid hard. Needed at least a little sand. I've played this course many times and I've seen it it a lot better condition.

Not great shape and long round

Conditions were not great. Very dry, patchy and unkept fairways and tee decks. Greens were the best part, in decent shape.

Cart was broken, needed to be replaced. No water on course. No Marshall. 5 hour round.

Course is a nice layout and staff were friendly but conditions and pace of play do not worth another visit.

Great course but pace of play horrible!

This is one of our favourite courses, and we usually have a great experience. Yesterday we were making the turn to the back 9, and a foursome of men who just have stopped in between the front and back nines decided to drive right past us at the tee block. No explanation or word of apology. Then they played at a pace that was so slow, that it would have been faster watching paint dry! This course could used a players assistant/Marshall as this was totally unacceptable. It took us close to 3 hours to finish the back nine.
