Madison Green Country Club

By far the slowest round of golf I have ever played. I have played in large shotgun events that were not even comparable to how slow this round was. The grass is banged up but the greens were decent. Pro shop staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, but unless your the one of the first groups off I would pass on this course

Excellent and challenging layout. Just a great course to play

Greens were really nice and smooth. However, Please tell me why all the fairways are brown with no grass on them, and tee boxes are in need of nicer grass as well.

Staff was very friendly and accomidating. This course has so much potential with the right care, maintenance and of course $$$.

The course is in better condition. Traps need to be raked with rakes

We played during a very windy day, only one seemed to play downwind.

Greens and bunker were in very good shape.

Staff were very friendly, and the scoring book is a must to maneuver your way through the course.

Played in 3:15hrs.

Not much room for error! Tight fairways, surrounded by wate, trees,houses. Greens surrounded by foliage. Expect to lose many balls unless you are a very accurate driver and short game can I am a 23 handicap and I lost10+ balls (played by myself so it was difficult to see where ball landed.) There are a few tee boxes where you cannot see the fairway, others you cannot see the green. Very challenging especially for the first time. Greens were well-maintained, very fast. Fairways cut very low. Most sand traps were soft, well raked. Course was very picturesque, so dense, at times I thought I was in the Everglades.

some tee boxes were in rough shape. they do need to cut the shrubs around no.2 tee box. its basically a blind tee shot and could be dangerous if there are still golfers in front of you still on the fairway.

The golf course has a lot of sand traps and a lot of water in play. For a better success, you must get the book having the understanding of the types of shot you have to commit. Combined with apple or telemetry, you are equipped to perform.

The cart paths are ‘natural’ meaning white sand , and bumpy. You could face water accumulation after a rain.

There are the reasons, I found the golf course challenging.

The pro shop staff was very friendly and helpful, as was the guy in the cart shed. I rented a set of clubs that were in good shape comprised of well known brands. The course was fun but challenging. One thing, the course could use an improved yardage marking system, as they were few and hard to find. Also, we tried to get a quick snack in the grill, but nobody was available to help us. Overall though, we were happy with the day.
