Madison Green Country Club

Round took 5 hours, waited on every shot. Decent layout but the greens were in rough shape, probably due to overplay.

I come to south Florida several times a year and this is the worst I've ever seen Madison Greens.I couldn't believe my own eyes even the cart barn attendant agreed with me .Its 's a shame as this was once a beautiful track it's seems No one cares anymore . How thew still get 4 stars on golfnow is mind blowing

Very disappointing

1. Pace of play was 5 hours. No Rangers

2. Water stations were empty and no beverage cart to be seen

3. Many greens were partially burned out

4. Tee boxes and fairways were not in great shape

Played many other public courses in the area and this was disappointing for the money

Yeah the title sort of sums it up. The course has a strange lay out. Just a lot of money for a course like that , should have been 60$

Play course every spring, course in great shape and green fast. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!!

Course conditions were ragged.

Pace of play in the absence of a ranger was difficult to concentrate over 5 hours. They had grounds keepers digging weeds by hand while greens and fringe I considered under repair in many places. Bunkers were not raked nor was sand depth consistent. Certainly not worth the price. Unless you thru in range balls and lunch. The pace of play was a reoccurring problem from last visit. Will not hurry back.

In the year I have t played this course, the conditions really have gotten poor. Pro shop staff was really nice and starter was great.

Course itself was to put it best, a dog track. Fairways were worn out. Bunkers had rocks in them. Grass around certain areas was like crab grass or something. Greens were okay but really inconsistent.

Won’t be going back unfortunately til they get it back in shape.

Greens are rolling well and medium fast. The fairways were very fast with very little grass. Had to pick the ball. Mud on the ball. Therefore the narrow fairways made some holes nearly impossible. I hit several balls down the middle that ran down to the water. Water on every hole. Plenty of forced carries. The fairways are just too narrow on the par 5 holes. They need to leave some rough left and right to slow down the ball. Some goofy doglegs. Had two birdies and still shot 6 over my handicap because of the water. Not fun. Too tough for me.
