About
With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.
Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.
One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.
A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

Fair condition, challenging course and nice layout. Good tee off shot is important. Good value! Greens roll pretty true.

DO NOT PLAY HERE
No ranger
Pace of play was horrible. Started at 01:45 at 06:30 was on the 16 tee could not finish the round. 4 hour and 45 minutes to play 15 holes and we where only a threesome
Cart were dirty or missing shields
Tee makers were not in place
Rakes missing from most of the bunker
Don’t Play the Green after 1 pm. You likely won't finish
Tee off time at 1. Teed of at 1:40 pm. The Starter (DES) said he forgot about us …….Spoke to him at 1240…..gave him my name he looked it up on his clipboard and had us wait where he said to go.
Disappointing to say the least ……but i have noticed that no matter the course nothing matters as long as they can get as many golfers to book t times. A lot of golfers were still behind us and it was getting dark when we finished …they must have been Happy.
Pace of play and fairways not good at all
The pace of play was awful. 5 & 1/2 hours for a round of golf teeing off at 1:00. Fairways are full of crabgrass and brown spots and the course layout in general is just funky. Greens were dry & fast. If your a first timer hopefully you have someone that’s played before paired with you to help navigate off the tee box because half the time you don’t have a clue where to land the ball. Overall not terrible for the price but wouldn’t come back here.
NOTHING'S FLAT ON THIS COURSE!
This course is quite challenging... with lots of water hazards. Be sure to bring extra golf balls!
Needs Sand ....
5 hours to play on a Tuesday morning- not acceptable.
ALL bunkers need sand, and i'm not talking about the drivable hard pan sand areas.
Greens / tee boxes are in great shape.

We enjoyed the course. At this time of year it's hard to find a decent course at a reasonable price. This one fits the bill.

Overall Experience
The course is challenging but forgiving in many areas. Accuracy in driving is important as many features come into play which is enjoyable, There were no course marshals which were really needed to maintain pace of play. It took us four hours and fifty minutes to complete the round which is poor., especially as dusk was imminent. Some golfers were unable to complete their round because of slow play by a twosome who were three groups ahead of us. Additionally, the beverage cart was seen only once on the second hole. We would enjoy playing again in better circumstances.
Fun golf
Played as a 4th with 3 great guys I just met. Fun guys to play with. Don't be afraid to pair up.
The course was in very good shape for the amount of play. Greens very fast but true. A lot of variety to the length as well as the layout of the holes. A lot of water in play and plenty of opportunities to work on your sand game. A good overall experience.
