With over 200 courses in Palm Beach County, architect John Sandford knew he would have to create something special to get attention. At Madison Green Country Club he did just that, creating a unique course that combines many of the best features from local courses, with a few surprises all its own.

Over a thousand palm trees line the course as do over 100 bunkers and 42 acres of shimmering lakes.

One very interesting aspect of the design is that not only does the course get longer as you move back in tees, but the shot angles also get increasingly challenging. This means that the good player not only has further to hit but must also place the ball more accurately on the fairway in order to set himself up for his next shot.

A young teen, his father, his mother and even his grandfather playing together from four different sets of tees will all experience a fair challenge for their respective games that still remains enjoyable!

My Day at Madison Green

A great design in terrible condition. The course layout is a bear, made even more difficult by course conditions. The fairways had little grass and the greens were threadbare and bumpy. It's a shame as 10 years ago, the track was awesome.

Good value for a touch courae

The course was not in great shape. The fairways weee hard and not well watered. The greens were fast and also needed water. I knew this course from years ago and has not help up well

Good Golf Course

Teriffic layout with many interesting holes. Not in the greatest condition, however, the greeen are in good shape and challenging.

The pace of play was terrible. No ranger on the course. The group ahead of us felt compelled to have lengthy conversations before teeing off on all holes.

Something must be done to keep play moving. The goal should be a 4 hour round.

Pace of play was horrible. Started at 01:45 at 06:30 was on the 16 tee could not finish the round. 4 hour and 45 minutes to play 15 holes and we where only a threesome

Cart were dirty or missing shields

Tee makers were not in place

Rakes missing from most of the bunker

Don’t Play the Green after 1 pm. You likely won't finish

Tee off time at 1. Teed of at 1:40 pm. The Starter (DES) said he forgot about us …….Spoke to him at 1240…..gave him my name he looked it up on his clipboard and had us wait where he said to go.

Disappointing to say the least ……but i have noticed that no matter the course nothing matters as long as they can get as many golfers to book t times. A lot of golfers were still behind us and it was getting dark when we finished …they must have been Happy.
